[Resolved]  KSRTC — online booking refund

Hi,
I booked a ticket from Palghat to Bangalore on the 8th of april and the date of travel being 13th of april.

The amount got debited from my credit card and the ticket was not booked.

Repeated emails to [protected]@ksrtc.org was useless as they give a standard reply and finally they gave a number to contact for refund and when contacted they dont respond properly and being shuttled from one number to another and finally they requested to email again and this is going on and on.

Government should take responsibility of such irresponsible behavior of officials.

Please take the action against previous complaint. Till the problem is not from last few months if you have any technical problem with respect this issues kindly mail to me. if you not solved this problem i will be treated this as no objection from your company for appeal in the court.

Amit, i have faced the same issue of money not refunded for a failed transaction. I have mailed them 5 times and spoke to them on phone, but no action have been taken. On phone they told me that the money would be refunded in mynext credit card billing, but nothing happened.

Do you have any contacts (email, phone) of the higher authorities? we can escalate this matter.
Yes, I always believed that KSRTC Airawat services was the best. When I had to book my tickets to CHennai from Bangalore (3 tickets-total cost of Rs.3030), the ticket cash was debitted but ticketting failed, for which there was a prompt instruction saying that an email to [protected]@ksrtc.org would solve the issue. My belief got stronger when I received an immediate response to my email that the cash would be refunded!! But there after, NOTHING has happened... Its extremely disgusting to see that a Govt firm like KSRTC fools people this way.. Although so many complaints are registered online, I dont think there is anyone who is even monitoring and making sure that complaints are paid attention to and sorted out.. I travel a lot using KSRTC Airawat and I have seen that they take utmost care by asking for feedback.. But its astonishing that they really dont care about the refund issues. Im sure this is not a rare problem. In a day, I guess there would be atleast 1 such incident happening.. In that case, is it that, all such cases are ignored?? If so, where is the accounting for all these 'looted' money??? Its been 2 weeks of wait now and it seems futile... So, the only solution that is ringing in my mind is 'approach Consumer court'..

Karnataka State Transport Corporation (KSRTC) — Poor upkeep & lack of hygiene

As a regular traveler I want to make this complaint to the person in charge o[censored]pkeep and maintenance of Volvo buses in KSRTC.
I traveled by KSRTC Volvo bus between Panaji (Goa) and bangalore.on 15th December 2010, bus leaving Panaji at 1905 hrs. The trip code given was 1905PNJBNG. I was holding the tickets for seats 5 & 6. I want to make the following complaints:

1. Interior of the bus was dirty. It appeared that it was not cleaned for a long time.
2. The seats were filthy and the seat covers were torn and were not washed for a long time.
3. The fleece material given to the passengers to cover themselves during travel were smelling and were not washed for a long period.
4. I was ashamed when I saw the conductor wipe his shoes with a fleece wrap meant for covering by passengers against cold.
5. I was deeply disheartened that having bought the bus at a very high cost KSRTC is not maintaining the vehicle. The upholstery is torn and dirty with grime and dirt everywhere.
6. My earnest request is that the KSRTC should make some one accountable for maintenance and during every trip there should be certification from some of the passengers on the condition o[censored]pkeep etc in the same way it is done by the Indian Railways.
7. What I have stated above is constructive criticism to improve ourselves.
8. I request the authorities in charge to take note and do the needful.

KSRTC — Money deduction for unprocessed online booking, not refunded.

Dear Sir/madam,

I am Vishwanath. I had tried booking a ticket on 29th of Jan 2010, wherein the amount was deducted but there was no corresponding booking of ticket for the same. I had been trying different options to get this refunded by calling the customer care & by mailing them, but ended up with no action on the same, though they had sent a mail promising to refund the same. I would like to lodge a complaint for the same.

I booked ticket for to and fro b/w Mangalore and Bangalore on 7/02/2011 and my transaction ID is OB3271005. The amt. is Rs. 1108/- . Amount is deducted but tickets are not booked. Please help me to get my money back.

Hi i am Achuth Rao working in Cognizant Chennai, i was travelling from chennai to bangalore on 4 mar 2011 n i lost my wallet in the bus, it had my debit cards n 700 cash with many important documents, i thought it is lost but the next day the bus driver Mr L Dominic had found ny wallet n informed me he had found it n ll return it, i collected it on 6 mar in bangalore from him and all my documents were safe.I would like to thank L Dominic n KSRTC for their service.

KSRTC — bus broke down and made to wait for 7 long hours in night

I (with family) was travelling in Bangalore->Sringeri KSRTC Rajahamsa bus on 06/05/2011. Booking PNR number is J23239122.
Bus brokedown 18 Km from Kunigal at 11:45 PM. We were made to wait on the highway till 7:00AM next morning.
We faced a lot of problem because of this.

Even mine is also same case. Yesterday[protected] i tried to book a seat of Rajahamsa which is going from Bangalore to Dharmastala. Amount got debited from my account but finally i didn't get that seat... Atleast KSRTC management should have some common sense to refund the amount when they can't provide the service properly..

KSRTC — ticket not issued

bus was every day going to chikodi to bagalkot in eveing time 6.45 time,that time bus is all sets ful because that time bus not available in chikodi bus station so cunductor jamakhandi bus cunductor is not issued for ticket for som customer, so please informing jamakhandi all cunductors ,that person is most of the passengers cash collect but ticket not issued,

KSRTC — Money not refunded for cancel ticket

Hi,

I have cancelled my tickets from Bangalore to tirupathi on 18/10/2011 and still the money is not credited. when i call the customer care no one is lifting the call. I don't know whom to complaint also as no one is responding to the calls and even for the mails also.
