[Resolved]  Metro Railway — Harrasment due to loss of ticket coin

Address:West Bengal

Dear Sir,
On 2nd September'12 I booked a ticket for station Dumdum from Syambazar. Ar the train my wallet is stolen and the ticket coin was lost. When I reached to Dumdum station I described all the situation to the security Guard and ask them to pass me from the emergency gate. The Security Guard asked me to give 250/- rupees penalty charges. Then I told him that I want to talk with the station master regarding this incident. At the room of station master they harassed me and when I claim to see the Rule Act from them they told that if I agree with them that I have done a mistake for losing the ticket coin and if I did not claim to see the Rule act file then they could have not charge so many but as I have asked them to show me the file I must give the penalty charge otherwise they will arrest me.They threatened me by calling police stuffs.Somehow I have managed Rs 250/- from my bag and after they release me from the office of Station Master.I have the receipt of the fine. Please advise me about my next step for necessary action. As because I have seen many times that when Metro railway gates are not working they used to pass all passengers from the emergency exit gate. Then why they break all the rules everytime and passengers get harassed every time.It should be stopped by Government. All the rules should be revised as because they are employed from us to help us to coordinate us not to harass passengers.
