My phone is dead from 8/09/08.I booked the complaint on 9/09/08 & today is 12/09/08 nothing is done uptill now.The service provided is very poor.Previous month also it was dead for more than 5 days.Atleast we should know up to which date it wil be solved.
I will be very greatfull to you if it is solved today.

Hi,
This is to inform you that I applied for MTNL broad band internet connection on my phone 011-27934030 last month. Since that day my internet is not working. There is some distorted sound when pick-up the receiver of telephone instrument. I book my complaint every day but your staff cancels my complaint every day and status of my complaint shows as sorted out. Your service engineers came and changed modem but no result. As on date they have visited number fo times but no result. On Saturday (13.09.2008) two line men came and told me that they would change primary line of my land line connection. Since then, my phone is dead. I would request you to kindly do not bill for internet service untill this is perfectly fine. Also let me knoe if this can not be rectified, please cancel my internet connection so that I can buy internet wi-fi connection. This connection is urgently required for my child school work. I can not pay for your as well as wi-fi connection. So, please sort out this problem immediately and oblige.

My phone was dead on 30/03/09 to 1/04/09. and again dead from 2/04/09. i booked the complaint on 2/04/09 complaint no is only 25. 4th april personaly i went in the mtnl office. officer told me today your phone will be working. I had tata land line phone from last 8 years. When I complaint of my tata phone every time they solve the problem in 24 hours this is the example for you. i am very sorry to say that your service is very very poor. and your workers are very iresponsibel. my phone no is 26643490 this phone was dead from last 8 days.
i am very grateful to you if it is solved today.

Our phone no. 27512298 is dead for last 2days & I have lodged Complaint with MTNL but nothing has been done so far . Our connection has been given from a poll which is at a long distance which is in the way & due to passage of Vehicle the Wire Breaks & Phone Becomes dead frequently Whereas a Connection Box is Outside Our House & I Have requested to the Mtnl worker to Connect it There, he replied that it is faulty & needs to be repaired but he did not repaired it & Connected from a distant pole mentioned above. please arrange to repair the Box & Make our phone Working.

dear sir, my name is krishnaswamy, and my land line no is 022-28578309, the second line is 022-28576885 which is on my wife's name. the first line is not working for the past 2 months which is rather erratic, that is not the word. many complaints lodged till date, but no response. yesterday i had been to mtnl office at sakivihar. personally met mr.mundal, who in turn directed me to mr.singh for further action. i met mr.singh who listened to me patiently and noted all the details, in front of me he spoke to the concerned person and he told me the complaint would be attended immediately before you could reach your home. i am sorry to inform you that till now no one came to my house nor the telephone defect is rectified.in this connection i would like to inform you that my telephone rent for the above period should not be levied. at this point i would request your higher authorities to look into this matter personally to give suitable instructions to the concerned person failing which i will be forced to take up this matter with higher ups .i do appreciate to take the necessary steps to please the customer rather than ending up to an unpleasant situations. with regards krishnaswamy

MY phone number 26988624 is dead for the last five days. I have lodged the compalin on 198 and nothing had been done so far. Even i tried to contact official Of MTNL Okhla exchange but there is phone ringging but they bother to attend the call. Even though there number is giving on your website in case of complain is not atttended you can not conatct senior official.
Hope that you can kindly look into the matter.

My telephone no. 27438223 is not working since 1st Feb. 2010. Repeated complaints are being made on 27432198. Nobody has come to attend the complaint or rectify the defect. MTNL is not entitled for any terrif till phone is connected or repaired.

I stay at Nilgiri 802, Anushaktinagar, BARC Complex, Mumbai-400094. My phone number is 25480180. I have to agree to the fact that MTNL is THE worst provider as far as customer support goes. For the last 4 months (starting from November 2009 till now) I have six disconnections causing my phone line to be dead for at least one week each time. Each time I complain at 25482198 they give a docket number and after about a week the line gets al right. But again after a few weeks history repeats.
Last time I called some person at the Mankhurd exchange office. He said some thieves steal the cables and causes these frequent disconnections. They have nothing to do about it and we, the customers have to bear with it. So, I have to bear with at least one "cable faults" per month for my MTNL phone connection because the cable gets stolen at regular intervals and these MTNL guys are so incapable to do anything about it.
No doubt MTNL is a great organisation and has brought quality broadband service to us Mumbaikars and Delhiites at reasonable price. However, their attitude towards customers should see a sea-change. Instead of considering their customers as botherations or nuisance and thinking that they are doing a favour by serving us, they should value their opinions and problems.
I know my phone connection will be al right by next week, but will be again dead next month. However, just thought to share my views with others here who must be suffering equally, if not more, from the day they chose MTNL.

I am facing lot of disturbance in my landline 01127047177 even due to this i am also facing problem in my broadband.
even i tried to complaint through 1500 and 22221500 but still no one is there to rectified it.
