Samsung — NEW A/C has manufacturing defect and samsung not ready to respond | |
Sir, This is in refrence to lodge my complaint against Samsung India. I'm sure i'm not the only unhappy customer, who bought samsung product on company's goodwill, rather i've been duped by them when i bought Samsung 1 Ton Window A/C, Model No. AW12ZKB on 23rd May 2009 from SETH Enterprises, Railway Road, Rani Bagh, New Delhi. I started facing the following problems, from the very same day of operating it (1) Absolutly NO cooling in the room. (2) The "on-off " cycle of compressor does'nt start in stipulated time frame of 3 minutes. (3) Fan takes more time to swtich off at intial starting, as well as between the cycle, making the room more hot, before the cooling can take place again. I've been lodging my complaint upteen number of times with the call center and they promise to send a senior engineer but a local guy from wazirpur turns up, simply 'looks' at the a/c and assures us that the problem will be resolved in next 24 hours but days are passing through without the complaint being handled. Despite of expressing my concern, each time they give me an illogical reason for a/c not functioning. I think all o[censored]s must head to consumer court in bulk to get Samsung notice us! I PURCHASED NEW SPLIT SAMSUNG AC ( MODEL NO AS18EXAXTL- BILL NO S-5583 FROM ELECTRO MART STORES Pvt Ltd P5 GROUND FLOOR OCEAN PLAZA SECTOR 18 NOIDA ON 23.11.09 ( CONTACT PERSON Mr ANOOP - Mobile no [protected]) - YESTERDAY, i, e ON 27.03.2010, WHEN I TRIED TO RUN 1ST TIME ( BECAUSE SUMMER SEASON IS GOING TO START), I FOUNF THAT THE FAN WAS MAKING VERY ABNORMAL SOUND AND M/C WAS NOT AT ALL COOLING. IMMEDIATELY I LODGED COMPLAINT ON PH NO[protected] AND AS PER COMPLAINT NO [protected], SERVICE ENGINEER VISITED MY HOUSE ( PLOT NO F-3 HOUSE NO 3423 ALOK-VIHAR SECTOR-50 NOJDA ON 28.03.2010. HE TOLD ME THAT TOTAL GAS IS LEAK DUE TO VALVE LEAKAGE. AND SERVICE ENGINEER ( MR PANKAJ) AND SERVICE CETRE EXECUTIVE ( MR AMZAD - M [protected]) ARE INSISTING ME TO FILL UP THE GAS. NOW, IF AT THIS STAGE GAS IS FILLED -UP THEN THERE ARE 100% CHANCES TO GET THE GAS LEAK IN NEXT SEASON AND CONTINUOSLY I WILL BE PAYING FOR GAS REFILL IN THE COMING YEARS
NOW, AS THIS AC IS IN GUARANTEE PERIOD AND ONLY 4 MONTHS HAVE PASSED AND THIS IS GIVING A BIG PROBLEM TO ME, SO MAY KINDLY REPLACE THIS DEFECTIVE PIECE INTO ANOTHER NEW PIECE ON TOP PRIORITY
