[Resolved]  Nokia — COMPLAINT ON NOKIA CUSTOMER CARE AND SERVICE CENTRE

I Dr. G. Jeyabalan, had purchased a Nokia E63 mobile phone few months back. The mobile phone was having the problem of hanging at one page during internet surfing. Last week, it so happened, and I tried to restart the mobile phone. The moment I switched it off, it was not responding any key after that and till now the mobile can not be switched on.
When the mobile had been submitted to Nokia care (Jain Communications,) Alwar, they asked us to wait for two hours, then one day, then two days and finally they said the mobile had to be sent to head office and would take 8-10 days. And finally I had taken my mobile handset back and now I decided to lodge a complaint to the consumer forum for the ignorance and lethargic of the service center.
They prefer to do services for paid service customer rather than warranty service customers like me. If at all they can not provide warranty services, why the company claims for warranty for one year for their products?
This can be taken seriously against Nokia who provides false claims as warranty, and the service center for not providing prompt service, reception to the customers.

SUB: REPLACE MY HANDSET DUE TO PROGRAMMING ERROR

I have purchase new handset nokia express music 5130 during the month of june 2010, but i regret to inform that it has poor service, the FM and loudspeaker of this phone do not work from the very beginning, i didnt understand why it has poor service, please register my complaint and replace my handset.



I believe on nokia blindly with their services and robustness. But just after one month, the handset started giving troubles. Its key was not working properly and gradually it stoped working.



since the then time the mobile set is FM problems. for that i have requested the shopkeeper to replace or repair it but unfortunately atlest 30 repeatidly visits to the shop, i always have been assured for the next time for the same. now i am fedup with that situation.



I REQUEST U TO REPLACE MY HANDSET BECAUSE I M NOT SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE OF NOKIA EXPRESS MUSIC EVEN FOR A SINGLE DAY. HELP ME TO MAKE D.O THAN I CAN REPLACE MY HANDSET WHICH IS NOT WORKING INTIALLY I HAVE PURCHASE THIS HANDSET JUST BEFORE 15 DAYS AND SOFTWARE PROGRAMMING OF MY PHONE HAS ERROR AS PER NOKIA CARE.

I also got problem in my Nokia E63. The phone was going dead frequently. the nokia service center just installed software twice and the problem continued. Then when i escalated they changed the phone.

Now with the new phone again new problem has come up, it is not charging. Is this expected from such a expensive phone, it is giving more of problem than a convenience. My old 3310 worked for 5 years without giving nay problem. Why does Nokia make such phones when it cant support it.

I am going to again send my phone for repair replacement I am so tired of all this, I need a phone that just works.

sir i have two nokia phone 1:- 5130, 2:- 2700 classic my two phone hendsfree model is same WH -102, HS - 125. my first phone 5130 hendfree made in china and secound phone hendsfree made in vietnam
but there sound quality is different.

I have purchase a cellphone from Nokia E63 I got a such bad handset from such a big brand of Nokia because they are not good services to the customer and I think they are not giving good handset also, but i went to 6 tims customer care with in three mothly this the Nokia phone

Nokia E63 — poor service standards

I recently had the misfortune of visiting your service centre in Parel Mumbai. I think it is RK services. At first the no. which was given out by two different galleries was printed wrong so we could not call.
First of all it is in a very dingy place with no proper parking. Then there was no boards announcing that such a facility exists.
Once you are inside there is no reception. You are supposed to find out your self how to proceed as the staff sits caged inside a glass cabin.
Apparently the next step is to take a token no. However, the machine did not function and on asking around I found that it had been so for a few days. Post that I would assume that there would be some way to announce which token no. is to be served. Since there is no receptionist, I assumed it would have a fast food joint style token announcement board. However, no such board was visible.
I had gone there with a problem that my Nokia battery has started draining out very fast and does not last for half an hour also, which is very unusual. The guy opened the phone in front of me, checked the hardware and declared it to be a problem with the battery without ever checking software issues.
I went and bought another battery. I found that it was also draining out on stand by mode in a couple of hours.
I do not want to have the ordeal of visiting this service centre again. Can you let me know if there is an alternative facility in South Mumbai.
Also, it is worthwhile to mention that while there I heard two women fighting with the center over the fact that no one picks up the phone. So everytime they have to make a personal visit to inquire whether the phone has been repaired or not.

I have been a regular Nokia user and this is probably my sixth nokia phone. But if this is the state of services, I would need to rethink buying again
Now Nokia are selling sub standard sets in india. it hangs, not work and very poor service . I am thinking to lodge a case in consumer court.
I agree with you. Nokia's afterservice is not satisfactory. My Nokia 2300 used to switch off every 30 seconds automatically. Nokia Care is saying it is unserviceable.
