[Resolved]  Onida LCD 32 Ldbvr Lexini — LCD TV not working

I purchased ONIDA LCD TV 32 inches some 14 months back. A day back when I switched on TV, nothing is coming on screen and it doesn't either to remote or any controls on the panel. I am totally surprised by this problem, as my average viewing time is 2 hrs a day as I dont have cable connection.
I use either DVD player or DELL laptop connected to my TV for viewing movies.

Surprising thing is this problem occured soon after the warranty( 1 year) expired. Saddest thing is I paid Rs.45, 000 (INR) a year back. I lodged a complaint with ONIDA service center but there is no response until now. Does any body have similar problem with ONDIA LCD TVs (Lexini series)??

Onida TV - Black — screen not visible, service center people not responding properly

Hello,

I had logged a complaint on 6th of sep 2008 with complaint no as 0179 about the the screen not visible, then after a week a technician comes and opens up the tv set. He is not able to rectify the TV n promises to come the next day with the required tv part.
So the next day no one comes, and i[censored] call the service center, these people do not have any idea about the complaint n what is the progress about it. i[censored] call then daily also they are not able to tell you what is the status of the complaint.
If you speak with the service center in charge he is arrogant enough to talk to you.
Kindly tell what i need to do further for this.
hey i bought onida xaria 32 inch LCD.. the product is too worst ... within 2 months they replaced my LCD and after that it fails 4 times ... i wrote many mais to onida ..also visited onida service center but no reply from these guyes... the product is still in warranty ... n i am facing problems such as on/off ... volume control & it shows sometimes going to deep sleep n off ... very much tired of this product ...

even I have the same problem I purchased Onida Lexini 32 inch last july and a three days back the picture is not visible and a white screen comes. The technicians came and inspected the set and told that the panel board has to be changed which will cost 80% of the price of the TV. I bought the TV for 45, 000 INR. I dont know how to go about this. can anybody share the contact details of some higher officials in Onida whom we can get in touch with???

I brought ONIDA LCD TV 32 inch during deepavali offer.. Exaxtly, after 8 days, I have problem with
chnnels scrolling infinitly. And the volume would reach 100%.. I tried switch of[censored]sing remote, but it
does not work. I have also tried Volume reduce, event this does not work. Remote will not work at all.
I do not have any other choice switching mains off.. I have been getting this problem for last couple
of days..

Do i need to change any seeting?? I feel this is a manufacture defect...

This cmapny is really pathetic when it comes to after sales. The funnny thing is that there is no way you can compalint to their Head Office at all and most of the Onida customer's are suffering. I am also one of them. The only way to deal with this company is legally.
Even we purchased in sep-2009 and now i see that panel has to be changed which costs 21000 .we paid 45k at the time of purchase.we both work and we spent just 4 hrs wtaching the TV daily.Did anyone got any solution for this?please dont go for ONIDA LCD tv

Onida 32 " LCD — LCD Panel not working

I have purchased Onida 32" lCD in sep 2008. Aftert 5 moths of purcase it stopped working abruptly. There is no display. It is not responding to the commands neither from the tv nor from remote. When i tool it ot eh service enter they said the LCD panel needs to eb changed and it costs 21 K + taxes + service charge. I sparley use the tv as me and my wife both are working and we even dont have cable connection. I have spent 45 K to buy this and now it is costing me another 21grand. I have also seena lot of complaints for the sameproduct. can some one take some action regarding this. We can apply pressure on the company to give extended warrenty.

Onida is a WORST brand and untrustworthy company selling low quality and unreliable products.

I bought 32" LCD tv - Oxygen model a year back. Suddenly one fine day it stopped working and there is no picture in the TV.

When contacted the service center, i got answer that the panel become faulty and to replaced. The cost is 15000 and will not be covered by warranty.

Still the issue is pending and yet to resolved.
y i bought onida xaria 32 inch LCD.. the product is too worst ... within10months they replaced my LCD 2 times and replaced power suplay 2 times.but still the same problem going on.
I think it is a common problem of ONIDA XARIA LCD.
PROBLEM.:-AFTER A LONG GAP LCD WILL WORK SMOOTHLY.IF POWERSUPLAY FAILURE OR SWITCH OFF THE PLUG THE BLUE LIGT(POWER ON LIGHT) WILL NOT BLINK.AFTER 1/2 AN HOUR
THIS PROBLEM WILL DISAPPEAR.

Yes i have the same issue.I purchased the tv an year back for the same price and my viewing is not more either.Honestly i am disgusted, it seems there is no end to my tv problems.Of late i see the picture but there is no sound, this is the 4th or the 5th time that the tv has broken down in the span of an year.Each time there is a unique issue i feel like i have been cheated by Onida.Please tell me how to proceed.
yes iam also fedup with onida tv.I have purched 32" onida xaria Lcd TV.It started giveing after 6 moth. TV goes off automaticaly. and comes on, this happen 3 to 4 times, and finly it goes dead.Service center people replaced more than 10 power bords, main bord, After atteenting each time it work for one or two days, Finly they took to service center, after 14 day's they brought it back.Still haveing the same problum. So many times i told them to replace it.Til to day they have not done.Realy iam fedup with them.
I have been reading many such problem from various sources, my neighbor also bought an Onida LCD TV and the next day had problem with tv function going haywire, he asked since I am a technical person. I asked him to go for some other brand.

My Analise is as follows on the Onida LCD TV.

1. Major problem with their "power supply design", their is huge amount of power that is required to supply power to the LEDs which are for backlighting the LCD, if the supply goes wrong the LEDs will burnout, so you may have to replace the LCD panel.

2. The microcontroler which is the brain of the system goes nuts many times so it starts function with its mind of its own and does not response to remote or keys, you have to manually reset the power.

Onida has very serious technical and quality problem to solve and Onida is no more a owners pride.

We need to group together and take them to consumer court.

I am Mr Ganesh Prasad one of the unfortunate customer who brought the Onida 21 oxigen thunder .

I purchase the tv on 19/08/08 from Pankaj Electronics, Hanumanth nagar. When i purchasing the tv i said to seller that i dont want demo tv since he had only one piece. He assured me to give box piece with free home delivery but it should procured from godown which is lying at sidhaiah road around 8 kms. After an hour i got call call from a driver asking the landmarks to come my home and he told me he is in godown .I surprice the no he called is of seller show room no and i confermed he was kind of cheater. After i recieved the tv i found many scraches on it and also on subwoofer system. sellers answer for this was onida company DISRTIBUTER sending the tv with improper packing.

on30/08/09 my tv picture were blurred and lines started to came up. i called onida authorised center but sunday they were not working . my warranty period lapsed and since they were off i gave the tv to neerby technician. he inspected and told lot of the tv had problem that needs tobe replace . he repaired the tv in one day and deliverd to home with minimum charges.

my question to onida company is

1. actually we had been used onida ky previously from past 13 years with excellent performance. considering that i went to onida again. but this tv not lasted good even for more than a year.technician says it is common problem in onida.

2. On 31/08/09 when i cleaning the subwoofer first time and came a surprice . I opened the woofers to check any entry of cockroach and found one of the wofer cone damage and liquid aplied and on back side written damaged. How come these thing in brand new tv?
I gave to the technician to repair without subwoofer system.

Iost the reliability on the product and iam also using oven from samsung and washing machine from lg they are still working superb

I too agree with all the 32' LCD TV owners. I had purchased on 10th Oct.2008.Six months it worked fine but from May'2009 I am facing continously almost every week problem.I have also noted the complaints no & date too.The engineer comes the next day & solves the problem but to visit again within the week.
They have replaced the power panel but without any improvement.I had also spoken twice to Mr.Ashok (Tel:[protected]) - Head of LCD TV for replacement but came out only with the assurance of clearing all the problems.I have also reported the problem with SONY MONY (Dealer) - Andheri Branch, Mumbai with Mr. Ali but only to know that i have to speak with Mr. Ashok. Now since the warranty period is also coming to end & knowing that their per visit charges are minimum of Rs.1500/- + other parts replacement charges i don't know what is tobe done?
I am totally tired following with these guys.The service centre is also not in the name of ONIDA brand, it is know as Adonis service ..I want to know why Onida is wasting money & saving o[censored]s when they cannot make a good product.Now not money we are feeling mentally tortured & harassed too.I would request to Pl show me the way.
Complaint against Onida washing machine

I have purchased Onida Washing machine fully automatic (Hydromatic 60 FP/FS) from M/S Mangal & Mangal Limited, Trichy, Tamil Nadu, on 04.05.08.
Before one year from the date of purchase, it has created lot of noise while draining out. Then I made a complaint with the service Centre at Trichy. Complaint No.189 of 11.02.09. They have taken more than 10 days to attend the same. But even after attention, the heavy noise is still continuing.

Again on 05.11.09, the water was not draining out from the machine. Complaint was made to the Service Centre at Trichy. (Complaint No.81 of 05.11.09). Even After twenty days, they are telling that some spare parts are yet to be received from Bombay. I am not sure whether the technicians at Trichy Service Centres are not having sufficient technical knowledge or it is due to the poor quality of Onida washing machine.

We are facing much difficulty without the washing machine that too we are residing in a flat. Nearly 178 houses are there in our flat and now they come to know about the poor quality of washing machine and definitely they will not go for purchase of Onida washing machine.

My hard earned money is wasted by having purchased Onida Washing machine and lot of physical strain is faced by us.

WOW !!! I thought i was alone. Bought a ONIDA LCD 32 and this promptly conks on the 14 Month.
The service center ADONIS wants a ridiculous Rs. 28, 000 /- for it's repair and too add insult to injury they want me to pay them Inspection and storage charges
y nt put a case in CONSUMER COURT!!

ONIDA/LCD TV — RECURRENT DEFAULT

I purchased onida lcd xaria in jan 2008.twice during warranty period it just went dead .we were reasurred the problem wont recur.however on 30/11/09 again the same problem was encountered and since it was out of warranty i had to pay 8000 rs for part replacement.to my horror today ie 25/1/10 the tv again blanked out.it is quite obvious the defect is recurrent since purchase, but should the consumer pay for no fault of his?.i would strongly advise against purchasing onida lcd .obviously there is no quality check or a responsible authority to correct the situation.
