Yes the same expereince for us while we paid them over 50K in cash to purchase a bedroom set. These people are not listening and making lame excuses now.

Folks, BEWARE OF ORANGE PROPERTIES AND ORANGE WOODS

Hi! I'm having the same harrowing experience with Orange Woods/Orange Properties. I paid 37K up-front on 4th May for the combo of a sofa set, king-size bed, dining table, etc. I was told my furniture would be delivered on 15th May. Needless to say, that didn't happen, that was only the beginning of a series of postponements - it was 20th May, then 25th May, then 29th May, then 5th June, then 7th June, and NOW "adjust for a few more days please". What is alarming is that they blatantly promise and guarantee the deliveries over and over again, every single time you call them. Why??? Even if their shipments have been delayed or not been manufactured on time in their factories, as they claim, how can they be so off-the-mark with the dates they promise? I hate to say this, and I hope to god I'm wrong, but I smell a rat here!

To people who are planning to consider Orange Woods, I suggest you stay as far away from them as possible, for now - or atleast, till more is known about them.

Does anybody here know who owns the company? When I earlier asked one of their representatives, she mentioned two people - Vijay and Raghu. When I asked her for their last names, she claimed she didn't know! Very shady, once again!

I spent half of my telephone bill on calling these guys from there on and the commitment dates are 19th May, 24th May, 29th May, 4th June, 8th June, 12th June...!!!********Now the new date is 14th June...literally I am thrashing my head against my laptop while writing this...the harassment is at its peak. Even I visited and talked with those guys at their corporate office and got the date 12th June...I can't write any more and this space is not sufficient to put their heroic commitments...

I can only give adivse to all people "DO NOT EVER DEAL WITH ORANGE GROUP/PROPERTIES/WOODS...WHATEVER NEW AVATAR THEY COME UP WITH".

Hi, I am having same experience like others are having with orange wood. they have taken 34K from me for sofa set and promised the delivery date with in 30 days. After 2 months also i did not receive the material. can any one give me solution? plz dont go to orange wood or orange properties. they are day light cheaters.

I had gone to their Banaswadi showroom to book my furniture on 7th May'08. I smelled a a rat at the outset itself when I saw their executives making wild promises to the customers about everything and agreeing to have any colour combination possible for the sofas. Also, their demand of the full payment upfront put me on my guard. However, looking at the number of ppl who had turned up, I justified to myself that it would make more sense for them to stay in business rather than run away. I still had my doubts and LUCKILY only paid half the amount i.e. 20K upfront.

However, by now a familiar story has repeated itself with me also. There is no sign of the furniture turning up despite repeated phone calls and visits to their office. I'm reconciling myself to the fact that I have been taken for a ride.

I'm contemplating putting up an Ad in the newspapers calling for all the people who have been duped by Orange Woods to turn up at their MG Road office and demand for our money back. If that fails we can jointly take up legal and Police action.

Let us all teach the rogues a lesson they wont forget.

Why dont u people go to consumer court and complaint again these buggers.

Why all off you guys come together find a suitable advocate and file a case in consumer court. I believe that would give the impact exposure for there deeds.

yesterday i, e 27 th june there was an add about orange properties mentioniing 40 x 60 land 6 km from K.R .Puram, and a maruthi siwft free for the bookings done, but the last date to avail this is 29 th june ! just 3 days ?!!! to decide about ur lakhs of investment ?they have also promised site visit, i'm a little suspicious ... now after reading these complaints thank god i've seen this now... i guess i would really stay away from it now...

but wat strikes me is how on earth can a paper like "TIMES OF INDIA" promote such adds with out proper background check on the promoter ... and i guess its high time now and you guys need to take soem actions against orange...

PLZ DON KEEP WAITING FOR OTHER PERSON TO DO IT ... AND U 'L JOIN LATER ... TAKE INITIATIVE AND MOVE BFR ITS TOO LATE...

Terible experience of Orange, after 60 days i have clamied my money back from orange, Trust you guys please intimate your friends never go for a Orange Experience . They just Loot Your Money . The Orange Owner is a Andra Guy and a 420 Person. They have spent nearly 80 laks for Woods advertisements. they have recd more than 1000 Orders, which is not possible to deliver this next 6 months also. Take your cash Back.

Absolutly ridiculos, I have booked the furniture on the 4th of May and was promised to be delivered on the 19th of May... till date I have been chasing with these bunch of laggons for the furniture but of no use..Every time they come up with new excuses and dates. I have paid 100% on the date of booking.
I strongly suggest that we can teach these guys a lesson...

Orange Woods — Consumer Harassment

Hi! I'm having the same harrowing experience with Orange Woods/Orange Properties.

The Orangewoods/ Orange properties in Bangalore had collected huge amount of money amounting to crores of rupees as advance payment from gullible people by way of attractive offers on furniture sale in the first week of May 08. Even I gave them Rs. 39093/- for the furniture after being promised the delivery within 15 days. It has been more than 4 month and a half, but the furniture hasn’t been delivered. The pretext being everything from delay in consignment from China, to labour to whatnot. The company officials on phone make you waste your money and frustrate you on telephone by extending the delivery date at regular intervals. They are not ready to even return the money back.

It seems they are masters in this game of cheating people otherwise, how would they again resort to attractive advertisement in Times of India and FM radio for a fresh sale a week back. I feel that there will be many people who will be entrapped in to giving them money again. It is not understood, as to how a company can take orders again without servicing the pending orders. Thus the strong suspicion about the credibility of their dealings. The marketing blitz in media coupled with young girls at the showroom and the promise to deliver the furniture within 2 weeks makes people believe them without realizing that these people do not have furniture in their warehouses & even the part of furniture’s delivered is not of good quality.

Therefore, I request your esteemed newspaper to kindly investigate the story and help protect the interest and hard earned money of the innocent and gullible people.

Dear Sir,
A charity NGO which helps blindpeople getting sight has been cheated by a house owner in chennai who has taken rental advance of Rs.3 lakhs through cheque but not returning.

The charity paid the money to Mr Ramakrishna Puroshot, Mobile-[protected] and [protected] as advance through bank cheque with a confidence that the agreement will be done later.

when the charity went to occupy the house for office, they found the house is not ready as committed and hence have to take another space to start the work. And now this man is not refunding the money to the charity.

what can be done to this kind cheaters?

As this man is not paying back the staff have to sacrifice the salary to recover the paid amount as it's official money which can not be accounted with out occupying the office.

Any help would be appreciated.
