I am a frequent flyer of Paramount and I fly over 12 times a month. As consumers, we should understand that no airline can promise to guarantee that no flights will ever be cancelled. sometimes it is better for the airline to call us and tell us in advance of a flight cancellations then attempting to fly an unsafe aircraft and put our lives at stake. I have had experience of almost every airline in this country cancelling thier flights for one reason or the other. This is but an in evitable fact of life itself.
I personally like Paramount a lot and would rate its service as very good.
With the case of refund, many consumers need to understand that only if they have paid for thier ticket by cash then the refund can be collected across the airline counter at any airport immediately. If it is done by credit card then it takes a fortnight for this process and still worse if it is through a travel agent. This also does not mean that the airline is sitting on our money as in fact travel agents pay the airline only after the passenger actually flies. Even the credit card company take thier own sweet time making both a payment to the airline or a refund from the airline to us.
I have provided this clarity in general consumer interest and not in support or against this issue raised.

Paramount was a good flight operator since 3 years, But now they are a good cheater since 3 months,
Its really a of their worst career of handling a business.
I felt abt 3 times repeatedly from aug10.
Our consumer act is still idle for the action against Paramount.

Paramount Airways — flight cancelled amount not refunded
I had booked ticket to Ahmedabad for travel on 9th September on[protected]. I received a phone call on 4th September evening stating that the flight has been cancelled and I have to make alternate arrangements. Since only 4 days were remaining and I had to attend a court hearing I spent further amount in booking in another airline. They have not responded to my emails asking them to refund the amount. Till date neither the amount has been refunded nor there is any reply from them. I would request you to inform the details of the chief vigilance officer of the specific airlines to enable me to get the amount refunded and also compensation for the mental agony caused by them since i had received summons from CBI court to attend on 10th September, Ramachandran
