[Resolved] Provident Fund Department — PF not credited

Dear Sir/Madam, My employer has given a request for PF withdrawal on 23rd of May. After regular follow ups I came to know that they have issued two cheques to my ICICI bank directly - 1. Rs 16161/- dated 23/09/08, Cheque Number-340289 2. Rs 6840/- dated 23/09/08, Cheque Number-439793 I have checked my account details & also enquired from my bank. As per them they haven’t received any cheque from PF department. They are asking for the proof of delivery but PF department in not ready to provide any details. I have spoken to PF officials on [protected] and [protected] many times but all in vain. They are saying that it is not their responsibility to trace cheques. My employer is also not giving any attention to this issue. I am also staying in Delhi and it is not easy to visit Bangalore. I have left my company in December 2008 and the company gave me my last pay cheque which was in jan. i was asked by my ompany to fill and submit my forms after 60 days to the office and they will forward it to the PF dept. I submitted my form duly filled to my company on 13th april 2009 and i have a zerox copy also. i was told to contact my company on 13th may 2009 to get the acknowledgement no. i did call and they said have not recieved it. later i have come to know that they have submitted my forms only on 26th june 2009, and i have the acknowledgement MH/NO 9564. Can you please tell me when i would get my PF amt as the company mentioned 60 days from the date it is submitted. i would appreciate your co-operation and kindness.
