[Resolved]  Ray-Ban — About The Product

I Pallav Mahanta of Duliajan, Assam, Under Dist:- Dibrugarh, P.S:- Duliajan Pin:- 786602, I have a complain about my sun glass (Product Code RB 3293 003/8G 67#13) Made in Italy, I will bought the glass from Guwahati (Shoap Add:- Sohum Shoppe Ltd.) on 06/05/2007 at the price of INR. 4690.00 but after 4 month's i found so many Scratches on the glass, wheras at the time of i m purchasing the glass the sales girl told me that the glass is unscratchabe, burnproof etc. and the nose rest will be broken after 8 month's from the date of purchase. When I want to contact them at there given Contcat Numbers, they will not pick the phone.
So what i m doing now? Plz give me a solution as soon as possible.

I went to Shopper's stoppe in Mulund (West), Nirmal Lifestyle. I was checking out the Ray-ban sunglasses for purchase. When we reached the counter, the salesperson on that counter went somewhere. So other salesperson was showing us the glasses. Suddenly the initial salesperson comes and tells me and my wife "The shop is closed now, make fast decision".
This is the most rude comment that I have heard and experienced all these years from a sales person, and that too in a customer-centric retail store like shopper-stoppe. And he laughed out at us.
I got this across to the Shopper's stoppe supervisor, who acknowledged my grievance and commited to speak to the brand supervisor.
Though I would like to trust her abilities in bringing this rude salesperson to task, I am looking for a customer grievance cell of Ray-ban where I would like to take him to task myself. It is because of the rude and uneducated sales people like him that the brand (Ray-ban) and Shopper stoppe begin to lose their credibility. I have been a long-term Shopper stoppe customer and would like to continue doing so. Having said this, anything that helps me build the quality of service of such a good retail store, would be my priority.
If anybody reading this forum is aware of a Ray-ban customer service grievance cell, kindly let me know of the same and I will be thankful to you. Thanks, Ajay

I bought a sunglass Large metal 55mm BLACK G-15 ( RB[protected] from M/S BIG BEN OPTICAL CO., S.C.O.72, Sec-17, Chandigarh, on dated 1stJan, 08(bill no.3516). After four month the metal frame colore was peel-off, and the sunglass give back to the dealer, but till there is no needful response from dealer. I used sunglass as per your given instruction on warranty card. I'm very shock to see the poor quality of colore of top class sunglass brand ( Ray Ban). Please do the needful.

Similar kind of situation I am facing now. I bought a Rayban glass from Gangar eyenation, Nerul, Navi Mumbai on 28 Dec 2008 for INR 2800/-. After about one month of its occasional use, its right glass came out of the frame and fell down. I took the broken glass to Gangar Eyenation. Initially they tried to blame me that the whole gogge had fallen down and i should be paying for the replacement. When confronted, they ultimately agreed to replace it for free but have asked me to wait for about 45 to 60 days. Now I feel cheated as even after paying so much, i am suffering due to poor quality of Rayban sun glasses and pathetic client handling by the Gangar Eyenation.

I BOUGHT A RAY BAN SUN GLASS FROM JULY OPTICS STORE IN THE ARAB REPUBLIC OF EGYPT 10 MONTH AGO, SUDDENLY I NOTICED A CHANGE IN THE COLOR OF THE FRAME, I WENT BACK TO THE STORE OF JOLY OPTICS TO ASK THEM, THEY SAID IT IS COMMON ERROR WHICH HAPPENS WITH THE MODEL I DID BOUGHT, AS WELL AS I AM USING ORIGINAL ACCESSORIES, THEY SAID THAT I CLOSE IT BY A WRONG WAY, I WOULD LIKE TO GET MY RIGHT BACK, AND I SEARCHED THE WHOLE INTERNET SITES TO GET MY RIGHT BACK, WHAT THEY SAY MEAN THAT EVEN IF I CHANGED THE FRAME OF THE SUNGLASS I MIGHT NEED TO CHANGE IT EVERY 10 MONTH, AND I AM REALLY NOT COMFORTABLE WITH THIS, PLEASE IF POSSIBLE I NEED A FEEDBACK ON MY E MAIL ADRESS

In the glass now I am finding lot of pathces ( looks like it is burnt ). This I have observed and immediately made a call to the vendor but no response from their side. I have Purchased a Glass in the M/O May 2011 from Delhi. But at the time of purchase I was told that the glasses are scratch free. But after a few days I found so many scratches on both of the glasses.
Secondly, two days back when I was riding bike suddenly the right glass has slipped from the frame and broken into peaces on the road. What a Product it is!!! I have visited a Opticle shop here at Agartala, Tripura they told me that the single peace of Ray Ban glass is not available i n India.

I have purchased a ray ban gradient blue metal shades, and yes the frames black paint was peeling off after a few days, and a few minor bubbles have appeared but i was satisfied with the product neverthless and haven't claimed the warranty, i have been using them and suddenly i broke the left lens of the shades and went to lifestyle india in begumpet hyderabad(i.e where i have purchased) and asked for a replacement lens against payment and they have told me that only they would give warranty service, and no repairs, hence i went to the ooficial website for dealers around my area and asked them for the lens but to no use all of them said only one word the service for rayban was very poor and in some cases bthey just said buy a new pair thats it, so i searched for luxottica group website to give consumer complaint but to no avail was such an option in the indian site, later i tried to call the consumer no. printed on the packaging box of the shades and found that the no was useless since it was not working. so after all these waste of time i just have one thing to say if you have purchased a ray-ban other than the black shades, then if you are vouching for warranty or for repairs it's useless waste of time and it's just not my verdict the authorised dealers have frankly agreed to it that the service is worst and may sometimes take a year or more.SO IF YOU HAVE PURCHASED A RAYBAN AVIATOR SHADES OTHER THAN BLACK SO PLEASE FORGET FOR VOUCHING FOR WARRANTY OR FOR REPAIRS COZ ITS GONNA COST U THE SAME AMOUNT OF MONEY AS THE SHADES WHEN U BROUGHT.SO IF DONT WANT TO WASTE TIME AND MONE BUY A NEW PAIR. thnx&regards

Till this time I hadn't received the bill for the product purchased. I am not sure weather I have got original product or BonTon has cheated me. Please do the needful. I have spent Rs. 8300.00.
