hi as iam shaik zabiulla got a courier from ur company regarding some gift winning . i dont beleive their is any illegal consequences in this i might send this courier after u give me a clear conformatio on this what is this and regarding what let me know as soon as possibe. my telephone no is [protected] before i dispatch this to u i should get awritten mail that this is legal. 2010. Kindly advice where I can view the results. It was supposed to be declared in Jan 2010, but till date i have not seen the results anywhere.Please can you lodge a complaint against them.

I am Ashok Gaykar, form Pune,

I am participants in the Reader Digest Sweepstakes sience 2008. I never seen the sweepstakes results are available anywhere. I tried to ask to their office but no one given right answer.

I think it is totally cheating. We spent money to courier or postage and their anual fees, in hopes of a large award like 28 lakhs, 60 Lakhs and big cars.

So I am decided now onwords I will not buy any magazine of RD.

How can attack all these consumers to rd legally? I think there is connection between lottery scams and reader digest. Reader digest from 18 countries deceiving consumers whereas lottery scam emails arriving from the same countries. Collection of addresses for year subscriptions (send 10 addresses get a joke book free), collection of addresses from BANK CREDIT card holders (good understandings between BEST BANK), sending wrong emails, deceiving with attractives lead everyone to think the largest fraud origin is READER DIGEST.

I arvinder a reliance one customer and was sent this R D Rs. one crore sweepstakes 2010 contest. I participated within time mentioned, I replied for 'yes' option and sent pink entry tickets for which I got the reply that confirms that final stage certificate reached you in time .I recieved my first copy of RD on 9 june my subscription no. 10-RDINI0-RD[protected]/0-1105. but afterthat I haven't recieved any copy of RD and also no surprisegift which you mentioned and promised in next few days. While checking my mail I find my name in the potential finalists for sweepstakes, but let me bring it to your notice that the offical notification is sent by postal mail which reaches at least 10 to 15 days latter where as you always fix a time limit that the entries should reach within 7 or 14 days.I hope you ensure that the sweep stakes goes to a person who is locally located .Even they will not be able to keep up with 7 days time limit.
I really appreciate your salesmanship where you ensure that sweepstakes goes to someone having blessings of readers digest publications .Will you please explain the logic of time limit under Indian postal infrastructural conditions.We cheer you for your ingenuity to be fool unsuspecting honest reader.
Presumably it amounts to be fooling public.
If you have any clarification please come clean openly.

My name is Richard Mascarenhas, from Goa, (customer No.[protected]A/c No.[protected] my name appeared as a winner for Rs.2, 00, 000 gold prize, but I was told to do a payment around Rs.14, 00, 000 to release the prize.The payment had to be done by credit card or certain banks debit cards. I requested the concern department to allow me to do the payment by cheque and release the prize only after the cheque is cleared for which the sweepstakes department refused. They could not even clarify whether the prize won is of pure gold or worth the amount I have to pay in return. I would request all my friends who are hoping of winning any prizes, it's just a fraud business please don't waste your precious time posting and replying to all the stuff you get by post.
They cannot give a small prize worth of Rs.2, 00, 000, and they claim to give in crores. Just imagine not owing a credit card, your prize is void. I order many books and other products not to win prizes, they are the ones who try to win customers by such tactics.

hI EVERYBODY,
My dad is spending lot of money hoping to win prizes in Sweepstake. They have sent the sample keys FOR CARS, and sample cheques. They even asked my dad to send the number of family members accompanying him to the prize distribution function incase he is awarded a prize. But for a long time the Sweepstake team is silent with no clue of the prizes. My poor father is really upset over this.

i think Reader's Digest has cheated .Please dont waste your money and get disappointed .It is totally waste of money and time. My dad has spent around Rs.30, 000. Please dont waste your money.
