[Resolved]  Indian Railways — refund of ticket

I booked a ticket vide PNR No.[protected] and the same has been cancelled on 29-12-07 but the refund amount has not so far
been credited to my account despite several reminders to irctc
via e mail. Please, therefore arrange for refund of my amount
by crediting to my account immediately. When the railway authorities are not in a position to refund the amount immediately, what is the use in booking reservation thru internet? Please treat the matter as most urgent.

Hi,
I have booked Ticket in 3rd A.C on 2nd Feb,2008 (PNR No[protected] from Railway Reservation Counter , Hi Tech City ,Hyderabad for Travel thru Bangalore Rajdhani on 1st April,2008.
The Ticket is booked for three members which includes one Senior Citizen and Two adults.
But when the ticket got booked the total fare it showed was
4740-/- which I have paid at the time of Booking.
But when I have actually calculated the fare after including concession for senior Citizen the fare was less and it was Rupees
4680-/-.
The same details I have checked thru Internet booking also and the fare was shown as Rs 4680 -/-.
When the same was clarified with the Railway Reservation Officer ,I was told that "this is a computer error and we can't do anything on it.I need to speak to Railway Authorities for your refund i.e Rupees 60 -/-.He also agreed that extra money is been charged on this Ticket."
Although it is not a big amount,but still I wanted to Know from Railway Authorities why this excess money is been charged from us and if it is an error ,then refund back the excess amount.
Sir/Madam,

I had booked 3 tickets

1. April 20th - Rajdhani Express
2. April 24th - Sabari Express
3. May 29th - Sabari Express

all 2nd AC. But with the reduced fare from 1st April 2008 will i get the refund of excess amount paid during my reservation dated in march '08.

Can you please clarify this to me? If there is a refund can you let me know the procedure.

My debit card was charged twice for this ticket (SBI transaction- 13-Nov[protected]Nov-2008) POS PRCH[protected] [protected] Rs 654.00 ) and the same has been cancelled on 12-12-08 but the refund amount has not so far

This is to bring in your notice that I'm writing this on behalf of my said mom Purnima Goswami that I had booked a 2A/C ticket for 3 lives of Janeshwari Express from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus to Howrah for 13th Jan 2009. But due to some obstacle, I had to cancel the ticket & I requested for the same through Inde Pay Terminal ticket booking machine.
Now the scene is like the tickets have been cancelled. I got refund only for 1 ticket & shopkeeper is telling that it may take 3 months & so as I have not been refunded.

i miss my train ticket which is in waiting list
that I purchased a ticket from the MYSORE RLY on 6th October, 2009(Ticket Counter No. 3) for two persons who were supposed to come from Nagpur to Bangalore city on 14rth October 2009. Due to some reasons, I cancelled the ticket through same window and got cancellation ticket no. 38662537. After some time, when I went to collect that refund, I found no refundable amount in my account. Then I went to the ticket counter for an inquiry, they said that amount had been refunded to my account, but till now I have not received that refund able amount.
Some information about that ---
Book’ ticket by VISA Card --- On 06th Oct. 2009 for 14th Oct. 2009 – 3A NAGPUR to BANGLORE CY JN by Train no. 2296A. PNR NO. – 613 – 3084128.
Refund ticket no. – 38662537 on 13th Oct. 2009 .
I had booked a ticket from New Jalpaiguri to Patna Jn. for three person for myself and my father and sister vide PNR No.[protected] ticket no.46043024 for the dated14/06/2007.During the journey period over mobile phone very sad news received one of my closed relative is demise. So, I cancellation of journey and handed over the ticket in Katihar Jn. Railway station concerned authority and obtained TDR vide no. 004561 dated 14.06.2007 and duly filled in and which I sent to the Concerned Chief Commercial Manager (Refunds), N.F.Railway, Maligaon, Guwahati-781011 by speed post on 20/06/2007, but till now I have not received any response from the concerned official, So, I request to kindly refund due under the rules, may please be sent me at my following new address.
