[Resolved]  Reliance India — Pathetic Service

I have 599 pack activated on my no. +91 [protected] since 08/05/2011. In which I was able to call all reliance nos free & all off-net nos for 30 minutes/day.

I purchased a new handset (LG CDMA 6210) from a shop on 20/05/2011 as my old handset got damaged. When I insert the SIM, suddenly I got an SMS "You have received 200 minutes local R-R talktime & 100 SMS/day. Validity 5 months". I was happy to got the free offer.

But soon after that I was unable to avail the facility of 30 minutes off-net calling under 599 pack (Bu I am able to call reliance nos free). And my main balance is getting deducted since then.

I reported the matter to customer care. I call to 198 they said to call *333. Then *333 exec assisted and as per your customer care Exec....

1) I should ask Customer care before buying any handset.
2) In this case you have to finish up my free offers which I received.
3) Till then I can not able to get the benefits of facilities of off-net calling of 30 minutes even if I recharge it again also.
4) If I use again my old handset I will avail those facility.

Three of them was somehow able to lodge complain against my problem. But those unprofessional & untrained guys lodged complain in such a way that the matter is not meeting my scope. Which are stated below

Complaint- As per complain I have been wrongly charged under 599 Pack.
Resolution- You are charged correctly.

Complaint- As per complain I have been wrongly charged under 599 Pack on dtd 27/05/2011 and Rs.5.00 has been deducted wrongly.
Resolution- You are refunded Rs.2.50 . Rest are charged correctly.

Complaint- I do'nt know what complaint was.
YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE DISPUTING FRC OR RECHARGE OFFER AS NO RECHARGE HAS BEEN DONE

Just let me know these things.

1) Do I made a mistake by purchasing a new handset as my old handset was having problem.
2) If Reliance is providing such offers with the handset. It should be mentioned on the Handset Box. cover or Reliance should provide a voucher/coupon alongwith the handset.
3) If the offers are meant for Reliance customer benefits. And if the customer is facing financial loss.
4) Do the customer care have any right to force to use the free offers.
6) I don't have any local reliance contact so that I could use the same to finish the talk time.But they do'nt have any solution for the same.
7) Why your customer care executives are so untrained & unprofessional
8) Total loss of my account is around 400/- (Who will pay this)

Hi,
This is the 2nd time I am submitting a new complaint regarding Pathetic services. For the earlier complaint Reliance has waived Rs.180/- (while the total loss was Rs. 550/-). Anyway I had planned to switch my number to other operator.

I generated porting request as PORT [protected] on 01/06/2011. I received a code RD41399. I submitted my documents at the new operator Store on 09/06/2011. But due to short of time the validity of the code has expired. I again generated a number RD464229 on 21st June and submitted the same at new operator center immediately. In the mean time I received call from Reliance customer care regarding number porting and they assured for the solution of my problem.

But till date neither The new operator has any answer for the status nor Reliance has any record. More pathetic is Reliance customer care executives are saying that they do not have any request of number porting from my side.

Just let me know, where is the customer now and what is the fault of the customer.
1) Reliance has played a lot since last 2 months.
2) Behave of customer care is so weired.
3) They always give fake assurance.
4) They are also not helping in releasing the number to PORT.
5) If I am lieing that I have not given any request of number portability, then how come I received call from Reliance customer care regarding number portability.

I am literally sick and tired of the behavior of Reliance. So if reliance is not releasing my number, no problem, I just destroy this damn Reliance SIM and i will take another number from other operator.
