This is to bring to your attention and expecting your response from your august office for the treatment rendered to a senior citizen with confirmed ticket of a seat but had to travel for over 9 hours standing / sitting in the passage near the toilet on the floor from Bangalore to Thrissur on 11/Jan/2013 by train number 12677 Ernakulum express.
Details of my ticket are as follows:

Seat No: 0103
The seat allotted was 0103, but the coach was having only 90 seats and no TTE was available to lodge a complaint throughout the journey. South Western Railways — service lapse
Myself and wife reserved to and fro berth tkt to mysore from bangalore. while going from blr there were only 10 passengers in our bogie. TTE came twice to inspect and verify tickets. While returning, when we boarded the train at mysore, there was no place to sit or stand though we had the reserved berth tkt. there were atleast 200 passengers in the bogie. our request to spare atleast one seat for my wife did not give any result. we were waiting for TTE to come. till the end of journey, no TTE visited our bogie.Other details are:
train no. 6231 and 6232 on 1/11/2009.
PNR no.[protected] and[protected].
berth nos. S3 3 & 4, S7 57 & 58.
Fare: bangalore/mysore: 200/- plus 40/- (r.fee)
Fare: mysore/bangalore: 200/- plus 60/- (r.fee)
Unable to understand the difference of Rs.20/- in r.fee.
it is very unfortunate that we have to undergo these type of hardships with reserve tickets on hand. Railways are not giving any attention to reserved passengers comfort. Understand that these unreserved passengers were holding ticket to ramnagar, bidadi, kengeri etc. this train didnot stop in these stations and all of them travelled till SBC.
request SWR to look into this complaint and compensate for the service lapse imdtly.
