[Resolved]  South Western Railways — Poor service in the running train and dereliction of duty by TTE

Address:Shimoga, Karnataka

1) I was travelling on 27th Night Train in Shimoga-Bangalore express at coaach S4 with sleeper berth 68. The train haled at Kadur Station from 00 hours to 7.30 hours in the morning of 28th due to accident of a good train just a few kms away from Kadur. There was no information about the delay or when the training will proceed. Till 7.30 hours in the morning, we had to wait in the sleeper bogie. No body came and informed us about the delay. This is the attitude of railways towards its customers.
2) On my return in Train o. 16201 (PNR [protected]) Bangalore - Shimoga Intercity, on 31st March, the fain above my head at compartment No. D1 was not working and the TV was also not working. Immediately, I reported the matter to the TTE who promised to do needful. But even after reaching Tumkur, either the Fan or TV was not working. I again approached the TTE (he told his name as Mr. Murari (TTE-Sleeper-SBC) who was sitting in the AC Chaircar about this and asked him to give the complaint book. He informed that he does not have complaint book and directed me to approach the Guard of the train to get the complaint book. When I argued that he is expected to keep the complaint book, he told me to contact another TTE in D2 coach and when I contacted him, he agreed to provide the complaint and asked me to sit in my coach. He did not turn up and when I approached him again, he told that repair to Fan and TV will be done at Tiptur which again was a false promise. On reaching Birur, I insisted to provide me complaint book and when only he provided the same and I lodged a complaint vide complaint No. 005601 dated 31.3.2012. The attitude of both the TTE was deplorable and no care was taken to set right the defects. Both the TTEs deserve to be questioned for not having provided the complaint book as well as in not attending to the oral complaint.

Southwestern Railways — Unsatisfactory services

Dear Sir,

Request to improve the services of SOUTH-WESTERN RAILWAYS.

On behalf of all passangers I would like to bring to your kind notice that HAMPI EXPRESS (Train number 6514) is leaving Hubli, late regularly since one week. It is scheduled at 17-45. Earlier it was at 17-00 which was very much convenient to the passangers. Railways people are manupulating the timings on their records. The enquiry phone will be always dead and nobody gives response.

Hence I request you to look into the matter at your earliest. Kindly reschedule the departure time of the above mentioned train to 17-00. Please do the needful.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully
