i have a Spice D-88dual sim mode phone on 15/10/2008 frm Mobile store of Dheli and IMEI no is invalid as told by telecom operator Reliance and idea...and why the hell set is launch by spice it make trouble... My sets IMEI is:[protected] Plz Registre me...make me syor is it china mobile!!! ?

Spice Mobile D88n — invalid IMEI

I bought Spice mobile model number D-88n on 21/12/2008 from STAPLES (NOIDA) .
IMEI on the back of mobile : [protected]
IMEI on dialiing *#06# : [protected]
this is showing mismatch.

My Phone will be locked because of the company's wrong product.

I have the bill and the phone is under warranty.

hey even i have the same problem with spice d-88 model my services has been stopped by the airtel for invalid imei . now i m going to publish all this about in TIMES OF INDIA and all the other leading media channels not to buy spice mobiles

Spice D88 mobile set — In vaild IMEI no.in Mobile hand set

I have purchased one mobile handset of Spice make model no. is D88 duel sim . IMEI No. mention in Hand set is [protected] but we chacked *#06# , I am surprised to note my hand set IMEI no. is diffrent [protected] & its invaild IMEI nos , my service provider was brack my servises due to Govt.rules .

I was purchase this hand set because of SPICE co. is well rerputated .

I agree - Even I use the same hand set and since the IMEI fanda has started, It is a dual sim instrument. I makes things very funny when 1 sim stays activated and other services close down due to non restration of IMEI number of the instrument. What is the solution to it . Y should the customer bare this cost.

e-phone (china mnake) — not working due to not valid IMIE no.

Sir i was recently purchased a - phone from u r reputed company COD order No[protected]sub order no 1677936) order approval date is 12/11/2008
in advt u say that it is having valid IMIE No. but now my cell was not working due to not valid IMIE no.(even when i go to take valid IMIE nuumber after paying the charges, then also it is not avalaible, hence my costly handset is become zero value.
hence it is requested to replace the valid IMIE cell or refund my amount, or i will file a vcase at counsumer court for cheating, and claim the losses occured due to cell switched off.
requested to do the needful at the earliest or ready to face the case at consumer court as well as criminal case for cheating.
