[Resolved]  Tata Indicom Broadband — Poor service tata broadband connection

Sir i am using tata indicom broadband connection past 5 month my login id [protected]@vsnl. Net
Past 45 days i am facing lot of problem in my broadband connection connection lost for 2 to 3 days continuesly. Even i recieved 26 days of downtime credit for my connection lost from tata broadband connection. And i paid the advance amount for 5 month. Still i am facing the same problem after meeting to the head mr sarvanna & area manager mr. Sarat in chetpet office.

Please suggest me what i have to do for this problem to be rectify even because of this connection lost i loss my many bussiness proposals income.

1 hour or 2 hour is sence but 2 days & 3 days connection lost is totally nonsense. Please help me.

I had opted for the prepaid broad band connection from Tata Indicom (VSNL) however, the said connection got spoilt and i made the 1st compaint to their customer care on the 20th of january 2008. subseqeuntly i made various complaints and calls to them but it has been more than 1 full year has passed and they have not even bothered to check what the problem is. if this forum can help me get them to attend to my complaint i shall be really obliged.

Tata Indicom Broadband — tata indicom broadband

I have done a very big mistake by taking Tata Indicom broadband @ my home.
I cant play any online Game although i have 512kbps net speed.
And my friend has 64kpbs net speed of Sify he can easily play online games without any lagg
also my other friend has Reliance Broadband of 128 kbps of speed he can also easily play online games
so plz see to it asap.
when i ping with 210.210.67.197 it shows 265+ ms which is very high and i cant bear that lagg
So giv net speed of the plan what i have taken or gimme my money back
i m very frustrated

TATA Indicom Broadband — Waiting for refund for 3 months

I am staying in Bangalore. I applied for a broadband connection(WiMax) from TATA indicom. They said that area is feasible and so, I paid 4 months advance (for free installation) of Rs. 3932.00 to the representative. The next day itself, they confirmed it and the team came for installation. But they checked and said that there is a customer overload issue and so they cannot provide more connections in my area. They said that my money will be refunded. I sent a mail to customer care([protected]@tatacommunications.com) and also called them. They said that as it is a problem from their side, I will get the refund within 2 weeks. From that moment onwards, I have sent at least 20 mails to the customer care and made a lot of calls to them. Everyone assures that I will get the money soon. The customer care people don't have any idea. They always sends the same copy paste mail " We would like to inform you that your concern regarding Refund has been notified. Our executives will get back to you with the feedback at the earliest." Nobody contacted me. After 2 months, I called the nodal officer to complain about this. I also sent mails to him(nodalofficer.[protected]@tatacommunications.com), but none of them was even replied. Whenever I call him( Rameez, [protected]), he will say that he will call me back with the details, but he never does. A lot of times he will not pick up the call. Its been more than 3 months, and still no refund. I would like to know the procedure to go to consumer court and ask for compensation. What kind of customer service is this? They dont even provide the correct information.

VSNL — SERVICE NOT UPTO THE MARK

I HAVE TAKEN AN INERNET CONNECTION AS ON SEPTEMBER 2008 BUT SINCE THE DATE OF INCEPTION VERY FIRST DAY IT DID NOT WORK AND I WAS BEING GIVEN EXCUSES LIKE MY LAPTOP IS NOT PROPER AND HAS A FAULT IN IT AFTER A BIG FIGHT WITH THE TECHNICAL TEAM IT WAS BEING RESOLVED BY THE COMPANY THAT THEIR INSTRUMENTS WERE NOT PROPER AND I HAD TO BEAR THE DELAY OF TIME, MONEY, INCONVEINECE, LATER ON STILL TODAY THE PROBLEMS OCCUR AND I HAVE TO FACE THE SAME AND KEEP ON COMPLANNING BUT ALL IN VAIN EVEN THE TOP LEVEL NOTCH ARE THE SAME .
THE COMPANY DO NOT EVEN PROVIDES THE BASIC SPEED OF 256 KBPS BEING THE GUIDELINES GIVEN BY TRAI SO THE COMPANY IS LEAST BOTHER ABOUT THE REGULATORS RULES TO BE FOLLOWED AS WHO CARES AS THEY SEEM TO THEIR OWN BOSS .

TATA Indicom Broadband — Frequent disconnections and rude customer service agent

I got a new tata indicom wireless broadband connection in Hyderabad on 30th january 2009. The plan I'm subscribing to is "unlimited power on & on 1-384".

I have been facing numerous disconnection and inability to connect problems since the second day of the new connection. Everytime, I log in to my account and browse the internet, I get disconnected after a few minutes. The network connection status on my computer shows that I am connected to the internet and yet I'm unable to browse.

Also, when I contact the customer service people, they give me the same standard reply. After following the lengthy and tiresome troubleshooting steps given by the CS agent, I get connected again. However, as soon as I finish the call with the CS agent and start browsing, it disconnects me again!!

Sometimes I am connected for about one or two hours. But that is very rare. Most of the time, I am able to browse for only 2 or 3 minutes before it disconnects me although their login page shows me as logged in. So the result is, I cannot finish a single work on the net because by the time I get to the page or website I need, the connection is already gone.

I have called the tataindicom customer service people uncountable number of times and complained about this. Everytime they tell me the same thing over and over again, ie, they will escalate the issue to their superiors and to the backend team.

One of the agents from the backend team then calls me up and asks if I am able to browse now because from their end they can see that I am connected. I tell them my problem is frequent disconnections and inability to connect even when the status shows as connected.

They then assure me that they will send an engineer to my place to resolve the issue. But no engineer showed up for more than a week.

Finally, after about 2 weeks, a technician came to my place today, 18th Feb.2009. After logging in to the wimax settings page and fiddling with the settings for about 30 minutes, he said that the problem has been solved. When I asked for details, he said that some settings which were supposed to be locked wasn't and he had done it. I was assured that I will not be facing the problem again.

The connected was okay a for a couple of hours after that. However, when I logged in a few hours later (the same day) the same problem of disconnection every 2 to 3 minutes started again!!

I am completely fed-up of calling up customer service everytime and going through the same process again and again with no positive result.

On 19th Feb.2009, I received a call from one of their agents at 2:14 PM. He asked me if I was able to browse now because it shows that I am connected to the network. I told him that everytime it shows that I am connected to the network but still I am unable to browse.

Then he replied that he can see that I have downloaded and uploaded a certain amount of data on so and so date. He said I could not have done that if I was disconnected, thus implying that I was lying about the connection problems, and trying to put the blame on me.

When I tried to explain that I am able to browse at times but the problem was getting disconnected very frequently, that too every few minutes, the agent hung up the call.
I have a TATA Indicom connection PLUG2Surf thru usb. But I don't know the No. or plan. Please help me to solve the problem.

Now my internet not working.

I want to solve the ploblem immediately.

I have taken tataindicom WiMax connection under the scheme where in you pay for the 1st 4 month (infact a bit more) and they will give a free HP printer. Now its been 3 months and i still have no update on the Free printer. I dont recollect how many times i would have called and emailed their customer support and they always keep saying you will get it in a week but that week has never come. WHEN I ASK THEM TO CONNECT ME TO A SUPERVISOR THEY EITHER DISCONNECT THE CALL OR KEEP U IN HOLD FOR ETERNITY TILL U GET FRUSTRATED AND HANGUP. I HAVE BEEN CALLING ALMOST EVERY WEEK AND STILL HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR/MANAGER WHO ARE ALWAYS IN MEETING OR LUNCH OR NOT IN OFFICE. THIS IS THE MOST PATHETIC SERVICE I HAVE EVER GOT. AND IF YOU CHECK THEIR WEBSITE THEY STILL HAVE OFFERS GIVING PRINTERS WHICH NEVER COME.
IF THERE IS ANYONE FROM TATA INDICOM READING THIS CAN YOU STOP STEALING YOUR CUSTOMERS MONEY AND SURVIVING AND GIVE THEM THEIR FREE PRINTERS WHICH WAS PROMISED.

i am using broadband connection of tata for the last 16 months and there is always a case where the broadband stop working after every 2-3 months even with sunny days ...this is not new to me .. my pity is i have to stick with them because in my area no other provider provides broadband ... i do prefer airtel any time ... because they are more superior then any other provider ... so again after the smooth working for 2-3 months all of certain my connection is gone ..then the whole process of customer care ...

first complain is raised is on Sunday morning ... the customer care executive said that your issue will be resolved with in 48 hrs ... i waited till Tuesday ... then i called again after there is no response from their side ...and what i came to know is that my previous complain is resolved ... i don't now how that works at their end ... my broadband is still down ...

then on Tuesday they give me another complain number ... and again told me your problem is resolved with in 24 hrs ... and on Wednesday morning ... 24 hrs are completed and still no action from their side ... and i called again and new complain number is given ... this time i do talked to some floor manager i asked him to mail your seniors and and send me the copy on my alternate id ... still no response ... then i mailed them the same old response we regret the inconvenience and another complain number ...

then on Thursday i called again some girl name ashima pick up the call and same old story ...understand, i understand, i understand, i understand and blah blah blah... and she does no different and told me sir your complain is on urgency basis is forwarded to our team ...

Tata Indicom Broadband — Broadband complaint

This is the harassment I am facing from the last 2-3 weeks : I mailed this email to customer service and nodal officer. Check out there replies and I am still writing as no action has been taken yet to my complaint. I am not able to use my broadband services from 23rd February, 2009.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am using Tata Indicom Broadband for last 15-16 months and have made
over 20 technical complaints in the last few days. My internet
connection has not been working from several days and every time I
call customer care, I only receive one reply “I have forwarded your
concern on urgently basis” though no action has been taken yet.

I called Mr. Alok Ph: () and Mr. Yogesh Ph: () as
these guys are tata wire line representatives who works in my area for
technical issues and they told me it’s due to fibre cut and it will be
resolved in three days.

I waited till 23rd (4 days) and still my Internet connection didn’t
work. I called this guy (Alok) again and he told me that there is no
wire available, and suggested me to call customer care. My complaint
# 8863724 has been registered on February 23, 2009 as I was suggested
to call the customer care from the tata representative (Alok).

I made numerous calls at customer care and asked to resolve my
Internet problem. I also asked the customer care to change my
connection to WiMAX. I told the customer care that I am ready to
change my plan as I have already faced lots of issues due to no
connectivity in the past. I have been given a provision time of 7
working days to install the WiMAX as it’s available in my area.

I am still waiting for some result or call from your side to get this
resolved. I’m already fed up with the pathetic customer service I
have received in the last few days. I am a loyal customer of tata
broadband from the past 15 month’s and want to get this resolved on
urgently basis. Please kindly take necessary action and do the
needful.

STILL NO RESOLUTION, NEITHER MY CONNECTION HAS BEEN CHANGED TO WIMAX NOR THEY EVER CHECKED TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM. Your customer service is pathetic. I made a complaint on 23rd February complaint # 8863724 that my broadband is not working. I have called your customer service department over 50 calls in the last few days. I have been told that there is no feasibility of wire line in my area now and I need to change my connection to Wimax. To change from wireline to Wimax, I also need to change my plan.



I made a request on 25th of February to change my connection to Wimax as your so called PATHETIC technical representative never visited my home to check my Internet problem. The provision time to change my connection to Wimax was 7 business days.



I have written so many emails to your customer service department and to the nodal officer to help me out. However, no action has been taken yet. I called the nodal officer on March 05, 2008 (Mr. Praveen) and I was assured that my connection will be changed ASAP. I called the customer service department today (March 7, 2009) regarding the progress of the complaint and migration of the connection.



I have been told that the complaint # 8863724 has been resolved and I again raised a complaint regarding no connectivity issue on March 05, 2008. This is so STUPID and frustrating that though no action has been taken yet. The complaint has been resolved. HOW??? What kind of customer service are you providing to your customer?? Are the prepaid customers are FOOLS who pay’s you 3600rs and not able to access the internet from past 1 month.



The representative checked my account usage and accepted that it’s an error from YOUR END. There has been no Internet usage on my account from 20th of February. The representative again raised a complaint # 9027976 on March 7, 2009. How easy is for your customer service department to provide complaint # to a customer and then forget about it. I never imagined experiencing such a pathetic customer service. I am fedup of your customer service and fake promises that I believed in.


This is my last email to your customer service department to let you know, either do the needful in professional way ASAP or I am ready to take some legal action (Consumer court) against your company for the harassment and I has been facing from the last 2-3 weeks.

TATA BROADBAND SERVICES — VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

I am using the Tata Broadband service for more than 1 year, despite of the fact that it is not the best internet provider. But, sometimes it gets disconnected and gets connected within few days. But, this time, i am really frustrated with it. My connection was done for entire first week of March, then it was up for 2-3 days and it is down till date. I dont know what is the problem with it, whenever we call the customer care, it says that our complaint will be resolved within 24 hours but no body even bothers to inform or update in any way. Either they should give us a final timeline or stop telling lies to the customers.

TATA Indicom Broadband — Gave the service for one day and pulled off the wire the next day

We applied for a tata indicom connection. The tata indicom executive came on 16th Mar 09 took a cheque
for a prepaid amount 5518Rs for four months. They laid the line 17th morning and their engineer installed the router on 17th evening. Everything was working fine for that day. The next day they pulled the whole line from my residence and did not inform me about the incident. I kept calling them the next day and they said they will callback. I received no calls and they did not install the wire.

Tata Indicom prepaid internet modem — Not refunding money

I had given cheque of Rs. 2207 for purchace of internet modem. For negative result of inquiry they are not giving me modem, & not giving my money back from last 50 to 55 days. They are saying there is no money in my account.

TATA Broadband Worst Service — Not even responding for 20 calls

hai,

on 16th of march my wire line connection (1 Mbps) was replaced with wireless (Wimax) and from that day i am facing lot of issues... Ours is a corporate office and they no even responding from 18th of march to till date.
Even kindergarden kids are better than the FLOOR SUPERVISORS.

I spoke to 5 of the Floor supervisors
Rajanikanth,
Prakash,
Jaya,
Shalini and
Rakesh and even I spoke to Rajani the Floor Manager but they are not responding for my complaints (Complaint no : 9154262 & 9187200).

Everyday i am speaking to them abt half an hour they are not even responding. I can strongly believe that they dont even feel SHY even you scold them.

My kind request to TATA ... "You are not capable to maintain Wireless connection and you dont have that my technology".


Please put my Wireline connection back .. I am fully disappointed with Wimax.
