[Resolved]  TATA Indicom Photon Plus — Poor Speed and Hopeless Service

This is with reference to the tata indicom photon plus connection. The promised speed is upto 3.1 Mbps which till date I never saw coming in my computer. Atleast I never saw 2.0 Mbps speed. I was disappointed and frustrated and the customer service tells me that the average speed is only 640 kbps and say that my connection is working fine.

The customer service that they promised is 24 hours customer service,but if you call them on sundays no one picks it up. Working Professionals like get time to use it more on sundays only.

I hope they see these complaints and rectify it or totally removing the connection and getting out of the business is much better.

I changed over to photon plus after they demonstrated in the shop the speed available.
I had also mentioned the location of my place and they guaranteed the same speed will be available to me .
After paying the bill and coming home I realised that I had been duped /
The speed is so slow and it often gets cut off.

Such wrong claims from service providers should be brought to book.

your speed is very poor as you promise for speed 3.1 mbps but it will not come
pls give me the customer care no.
I am having the most frustrating experience with Photon+. It is now very clear to me that the TATA's are capitalising on their brand image from other industries (well at least a few ones where they have evolved and are not experimenting at the cost of customers anymore) and are simply experimenting with customers and cheating them. I have never seen an average speed of more than 20 KPBS (2 KPBS DOWNLOAD) on my photon+ - believe it or not!!!

Interacting with Customer service and engineers is even more frustrating.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TATA's SERVICES.
The photon + launced is a failure.The speed is pathetic.pages dont even open.you just have to wait for an hour for things to move.in addition to that the cutomer care service is worst.they just have been trained to put callers on hold.At the time of bill due dateyou will get 100 shameless calls askin for bill payment.These guys are bringing shame to TATA group.
I too agree with the speed fluctuations with photon plus connection. TATA is cheating customers. Initially when they introduced photon plus they try to wash their hand saying that they assure speed o[censored]pto 3.1 Mbps. Now they escape from speed related complaints by saying that you will get speed from 256kbps upto 3.1 Mbps. Very rarely I used to get a speed upto 1 Mbps. Most of the time speed is between 0 kbps to 200 kbps, which even a dial up connection will give.
100% agree with this complaint...
very slow speed... CC people with low IQ ... very less tech. knowledge..
DONT BUY TATA PHOTON... Tatas are making money out of this by looting customers ... HATE TATA... I WILL NEVER USE PHOTON, tata NANO, TATA ACE, TRUCK. INDICOM...

TATA Indicom — Hopeless Services

I was using Tata Indicom services A/C No.[protected] for Internet purposes few months back i encountered problem with the modem provided due to which i was unable to use the net, Even after registering complaints to tata indicom executives my complaint was not attended I still paid the Bills for the unused period.
Later on my service was Deactivated & now the are asking for bill payments for the unsed duration.

If they did not provide the service why should anyone pay for their negligence

My tata photon number is [protected] and i m stay in kalwa east thane. I m using tata photon from last 3 years previously i use Reliance net connect. I got good services from tata in previous day but from 6-7 month i m facing very bad internet connection and even some time the show connection and and full of range but where website not loading just they eat our bandwidth. I m really patiently use tata photon till date but now i feel reliance net connect is better than tata photon data card and also i suggested by 3-4 friend living in same area they using reliance net connect. I just say pls improve your service.
