[Resolved]  Tata Photon Plus — Worst service

This is regarding the Photon Plus #[protected]. Soon after I took the connection they have disconnected the service. Which caused a huge loss of business for me. The issue was they were unable to find the documents I have submitted while taking the connection. Did they lost it? Funny ha !!!

I am posting here the e-mail communication happened. Even they did not reply to my mail detailing the issues, just apologized over phone, probably they were afraid to have it recorded.

Anyway I thought probably this is first time some mistake happened, but no, after a month they have sent me completely wrong bill. I shall post that in other mail chain.

As I said, I need the service to be resumed within 6PM today. Also I need a clear explanation through email from your side why did it happen?

Else I would like to get the full refund of the device charge and connection charge. As well as I would like to be compensated due to the loss caused by your irresponsible, unprofessional and interrupted service.

Dear Nodal Officer,

(1) 27 Mar'10 : I have taken the photon plus, I have submitted all the necessary documents I have asked to. It got it activated immediately.

(2) 6 April evening : I have logged on to the system to do some urgent work, and I saw that the Photon+ is not working. The customer care told me that the connection is terminated because I did not submit the address proof and ID proof.

(3) 7 April morning : I have called the shop in Richmond Circle, they said the connection was terminated because my address was not found and my mobile was unreachable. And the connection will be resumed on 8 April.

(4) 7 April evening : I have called the nodal officers no [protected], then it was found that my mobile number stored in your system is incorrect, however you have my same mobile bill as address proof. The customer care person apologized for the mistake, and said he raised a complaint and it will be resolved by 8 April.

(5) 8 April 4.00 PM : I have called [protected], and the lady said that it will be released with in a hour.

6.30 PM : I have called again, then I have been told that it will be released by 8 PM

8.26 PM : I have called again, then the person told me that he will call me and update me the status after 5 min.

8.56 pm : The person did not call me so I called him again, and I have found that my call is getting diverted and getting ended.


I have payed to Tata Indicom, because the service promised to me satisfy my requirement. Now after selling the product why did you terminate my connection without any valid reason? I want the loss I am through due to your poor conduct, to be compensated by Tata Indicom. Also the connection to be resumed by 6.30 pm. If not then I need the full refund of the device charge and connection charge.

I need a clear explanation from your side what is the reason behind that? Tata indicom is a prominent service provider, and suppose to give very good service, so what you are doing with me is unexpected, *********?

Dear Sir/Madam,

Pls find below on a complaint raised by me in the month of october,with
regard to the same i was totally dissatisfied with your service & i have
asked your people to DISCONNECT my INTERNET CONNECTION and i was informed by your customer service person that the same has been done and with regard
to the BILLING QUERY they told me that the excess amount collected will be
REFUNDED.

Today (05/12/2009) i have received a BILL for the month of NOVEMBER , I
am totally DISSAPOINTED & IRRITATED ,i dont have any words to express it.

How can your people send me a bill when i have already DISCONNECTED the
services and instead of REFUNDING the excess amount collected from me they
have DEBITED the charges for the month of NOVEMBER from the EXCESS AMOUNT available in my account.

I want all my MONEY REFUNDED without any further delay or else i would
have to approach the CONSUMER COURT for further action regarding this type of
WORST SERVICE.

Note:The customer service no :[protected] & Toll free no[protected] both
are of no use since its getting DISCONNECTED if the a/c no provided is
INCORRECT as in my case my A/C NO[protected] is already CANCELLED and how
will i be able to contact your customer care person since the system
should be user friendly as there should be a option to transfer the call to the
customer service person if the there is some problem for the customer to
get through to the customer service person through the IVR SYSTEM.

Tata photon plus - Worst service, worst speed.

I took tata photon plus in on 29th july. they said it will be activated on the same day but it dint.
i called them 1000 times for 5 days after that it finally activatetd with worst speed and frequent breakdown of connection.

i recharged it with Rs 700 for 1 GB. I dint download anything or dint see any videos but still after 1 hr simple browsing my balance was 500 Mb .i called customer care and they said they cant do anything..

I think people should take strict action against this type of service. They are making us fool. Tata photon authority should take these matter seriously.
TATA PHOTON PLUS SINKS

These Tata Photon guys are really harassing the people and playing and fooling people all around. I happen to be one of their recent victims with Tata Photon No. [protected]. In spite of purchasing their service some two weeks back, on 15th Nov., 2010 to be exact, they still haven't delivered the Invoice yet. I mean, how can this happen. In today's time, can you think of a situation that you have paid for something and the guy tells you that Invoice will be given after so many days. I have been following up with them each day since then, but every time the lady at their outlet (RT Nagar, Bangalore) tells me tomorrow it will be given.

Not only this, they took some ten days to deliver the bag which they were offering on promotion. Talking of speed - it is a sham. Hardly you get the speed of 3.1 Mbps which they promise in their collaterals.

Surprising is the fact, that people over there are not committed. They keep on promising the customer and keep on falling on their promises. It is quite shameful to see this type of service levels coming from a company which happens to be the group company of one of the revered business houses of India.

My Tata Photon plus No: [protected]

I'm Tata Photon + customer from the last 7+ months. l got this connection from Coimbatore and now i have moved to Gulbarga. On 2/07/2011, my tata photon plus account was disconnected . While enquire the same to your customercare, they have informed me as "the connection was disconnected due to cancellation request received from your mail" But I was not sent any cancellation request through my mail. I was also check my email sent items. In this regard I have make call to the call centre for 4 or 5 times on 03 & 4 /07/2011 to explain my problem. After that the problem was soloved on 05/07/2011 onwards. But this connection was disconnected
on 09/07/2011. At that time, the call center peopele told that, the same, ie., "the connection was disconnected due to cancellation request received from your mail" I have explained him several time for reconnection. But the call center people told that, "you are only sent the cancellation mail, hence please go the tata indicom outlet for re conncetion". Even though this problem was created because of your worst service, i have waste my precious time around 5 hours in he past one weak.

This is caused because of your worst service only. Hence I will not go to tata indicom outlet for reconnection. If you didn't need my tata photon plus connection, dont activate again and informed me through mail for refund rule. I was not expecting such worst service from Tata, which is very reputed brand.
