[Resolved]  Tata Sky — service

I have tata sky set top box. I have already made my payment. Still there is an urgent payment reminder flashing on my tv. I have called up tata sky four times in 4 consecutive days with them promising me that they will fix the problem and they are at it.
1)Problem not fixed.
2)Customer Service - Highly inefficient. one person told me to keep my tv and set top box on for 3 hours and the problem will be fixed. I told him what if not, i expect a call from your end in 2-3 hrs telling me if its fixed or not. he said dont worry it will be fixed. I even explained to him ive been calling since 2 days , but to no avail, so i would like it if i get a confirmation call because im tired of calling up agn and agn and facing new customer executives and reexplaining my problem. i dont have all the time in the world to chat up with tata sky ppl!!
3) Also the people dont speak c;ear;y, I spoke in english and hindi and still i had to ask him thrice before i understood what he was trying to say!!
4) Next i think since I cant convey my message through the phone, I should login a complaint on their website, but guess what tata sky does not move ahead from the page where you put in your subscriber id. It just stops loading the page.

Where does a customer go to after all this ??? - if you are expecting me to SMS my problem, im not going to type such a HUGEEEEE text on my phone.

customer care service of tata sky is not bad but it is very very very bad...
i have been using tata sky since long now...almost a year...i ahvent found the service that bad the way you are describing...its kind of much much better than what i have experienced previously while using a cable TV..
I had bought the Tata Sky from Greenways Marketing. They doing their service well,
If i want recharge my account just i want to go and tell For atleast 25times. Then only he will reharge. If I complain anything about tata sky they are not responsing. Please do the service well.

TataSky — Service Complaint

I have given a complaint last month regarding few channels missing like Zee Telugu, TV5, SET MAX and few other channels. Seema is representative who arranged a technician and told me that I will be charged if there is physical damage as my unit is out of warranty. Technician came to my home and replaced the part on dish. Later I was charged 350/- for which the problem is not fixed. I had this Tatasky from last 4 years, they just looted my money from last 4 years with damn signals and no clarity.
Someone please advise.
The service provided by Tata Sky is pathetic , whether its installation or recharge . They come with a new excuse , always for the delay ..

Hello, I am user of Tata Sky DTH from last many years, I have recharged semi annually or annually regularly. Now I am facing very big problem from last 1 month due to digicom. i have complaint many time in customer care but they not resolve my problem till date. when i talk to customer care they always give me next day to resolve the problem but the problem is same still pending and i facing mentally harassment due to daily talk to customer care.i want to disconnect the service but due to advance payment i cannot do this.I want to share all o[censored] that do not pay advance to tata sky because the service of tata sky is very poor....
i AM NOT GETTING TATASKY SERVICES , I COMPLAINTS AGAISNT THAT , I GOT A REPLY WITH IN 24 HOURS U GET SERVICE. PERSON TURN OUT AFTER 2 DAYS , HE CHANGE MY SET UP BOX , NEXT DAY AGAINST ITS STOP WORKING. YESTER DAY I.E. 23.05.12 MONING 7.30 I REGISTER MY COMPLAINT NO. [protected] . PERSON TOLD ME AS THIS IS UR REPEAT COMPLAINT ITS WILL BE REPLY WITH IN 2 HOURS. I TOOK LEAVE & SAT AT HOME , I WAITED TILL 6.30 NO CALL , NO TECHNICIAN. I CALLED UP AGAIN THEY TOLD WE U R COMPLAINT WILL BE ATTEND TOMORROW EVENING IT MEANS ALMOST AFTER 36 HOURS.. I LOST MY FULL DAY, MY TIME PLUS FININCIAL LOSS. I TRY TO SPEAK TO UR HIGHER AUTHORITIES. THEIR EXTENTION IS ALWAYS BUSY. FINALY THEY TOLD ME THAT WE WILL CALL U TOMORROW BEFORE 10. NIGHT 8.52 I RECEIVED ONE CALL FROM SERVICE CENTRE & HE INFORM ME THAT HE WILL ATTEND THE COMPLAINTS BY 11.30 TOMORROW. AGAIN I TOOK A LEAVE AND SAT AT HOME , 2 P.M. I CALLED UR COMPLAINTS NO. You can address your complaint to tata sky’s official handle @tatasky. They will check for the reason why your set top box is not working and send a technician accordingly. I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated. I tweeted regarding this complaint and tata sky immediately responded to my tweet. All I had to do is submit my subscriber ID. The customer service team instantly gave a callback and my account was activated. I suggest you too should provide your subscriber ID either here or tweet regarding your issue with this complaint link. I am sure they will look into your matter and send a technician asap.

We have taken the tata sky connection from past two years, but to our disguise this is the 4th set up box we have changed.

They are providing the used setup box without sealed packet which was used before and repaired. To our surprised they are aslo chargind us for the replacement of set upbos along with the service tax.

When called the customer care there is nobody to answer our query and the call is kept for hold for more than half an hour.

They are also using the wrong benefits of the recharge amount. They deduct the amount from our balance without information or prior intimation but when we call the customer care for the information about the deduction they give variable answers.

So friends beware of this cheating done by the TATA SKY. Please check before going for this services as I have the experince of this torture. Only Amir Khan is the celebrity and the name TATA but not the srvices.

Complaint: Cust ID [protected]: Worst Service Experience‏

This is to bring to your attention that Tatasky has provided me with the worst customer service I have received anywhere.

On the 25.7.12, I called up Customer Care to inform them that I am relocating my residence & I need my connection moved. They informed me that they would put in a de-installation request, I then discussed & confirmed that I also wanted a HD Normal upgrade. They took down the details of the new address & told me that the jobs would be completed on the 26.7.12 at a time convenient to me. Within 2 minutes I received a call from the Goa Tatasky representative who called me from a private mobile number informing me that they were coming right away to disconnect the connection. I then told them that I required them to come the next day to do the job.

The next morning I got another call from another private mobile number stating that they were coming to de install the connection but I have to put in another request to re-install. When I informed that that the call center informed me that the upgrade request was put on the new address the technician actually shouted at me in anger on the top of his voice stating that we have no idea of what we want, we have not communicated the process accurately, the customer care does not know what they are doing & so on & then disconnected the call whilst in mid conversation. When I called back the numbers, they told me that I must call on the official phone & not on their personal numbers without seeing to reason that I acquired their personal numbers only after they called me. I called back to customer care & spoke to a representative who told me that they would revert to me immediately & that they acknowledged tat the mistake was from their end. Nobody called back, again.

The call finally came only on the morning of 27.7.12. The customer care representative told me that they have scheduled the visit for 1330 hrs & I informed her that I am scheduled to leave my residence at 12 for an appointment. She promised to call back to confirm the appointment but never did.

I cancelled my appointment & waited for the technician who came at 1405 to my residence. When I questioned him as to why he is late he simply said that if I want to install it then allow them to do it or else he doesn't care & it doesn't make a difference to him & he turned & left. 1330 is his lunch time & the customer & customer care dont care when they fix the schedule.

At the end of this whole scenario I am paying for a service that I am not even enjoying. The whole TV campaign of having your Tatasky relocation requests is a sham & totally misleading to the customer.
