[Resolved]  Time of India — ToI had given annual subscription receipt but not supplying the news paper

I have been subscribing to TOI for the last two-three years.

On 22/7/10, Mr. Balamurugan with ToI I-card came to our house, collected the money for annual subscription, and gave a receipt against one year subscription (From Aug 10 to July11).
The order No. is NAD 091778.

I asked for the vendor's coupon. He told me that he would contact the vendor and there is no need to give any coupons to him. However, the vendor is asking for the coupons now after supplying the paper for the last one month. .

I have called to the TOI help-line number[protected] twice. As a response to my first call on 30th Aug, I was informed that a person would call me on 31st. Since nothing of that sort happened, I again called on 31st (evening). I was told that Some Singh would call me on 1st Sep morning. Again, nothing of that sort happened.

The vendor has stopped supplying the TOI.
On 2/9/10, I sent an email to crm.[protected]@timesgroup.com
They sent a reply stating

Dear Subscriber,
We have taken note of your complaint regarding the supply of TOI to your address. We will resolve it within 48 hrs from the time of you receive this mail.

Assuring the best of our services at all times.
Regards,

CRM TEAM.

However, nothing happened till 6/9/10.
Once again I called the help-line number. They informed me that I should handover a xeroxed copy of the receipt to the vendor. I did that. Still no paper was supplied. Today, I walked to the vendor's place. He informed me that a vendor at adayar should supply the news paper to me.
I do not know who is this vendor at adayar. I wrote to the ToI subscription cell, to the editor, ToI, Chennai using their web interface. But no reply has yet come from them.

I have been cheated by the Times of india. They have taken the annual subscription money from me, gave the receipt and did not supply the paper. And worst, not even replying to me now.
