Times Internet Limited — Payment made but order cancelled by them

I am Niraj Kumar ordered a Pure Gold Bullion Bar 2 gram (24K 999 purity), from Indiatimes Shopping website i.e. www.shopping.indiatimes.com, my order number was [protected] dated Aug 19, 2012 and paid the amount through credit card. I received a call from them on 20th Aug 2012 from telephone number[protected] that my order no. [protected] will not be delivered since the product is out of stock. I told him that the product is still showing in stock status on the website www.shopping.indiatimes.com. I told him that if he can mail me about this, so that I can give my consent over the mail but without my consent he cancelled my order despite the fact that product was available at that time.

First, I would like to bring to your notice that my transaction would not have processed if the product is showing out of stock status in Indiatimes Shopping website www.shopping.indiatimes.com as they always show stock status of any product before ordering a product. Secondly Pure Gold Bullion Bar 2gm, the same product that I have ordered, was showing in stock status at the time of my order to your surprise product is still available on their website. I promised someone it to gift it but they compelled me to break my promise as it has been cancelled by them. It is something fooling the customer and nothing else. Its my gentle request to you to kindly escalate this matter. So that they can dispatch the product.
