[Resolved] Yatra.com — wrong passenger name on issued ticket | |||
I had the same bad experience booking a ticket for my mother on yatra.com. I put down her name as primary passenger for a Kingfisher flight from CHD-DEL and paid via my online banking account. When the e-ticket is displayed for printing it has my name on it instead of my mother as passenger. I contacted yatra.com for a name change but they replied after 1 week that it is *not* possible... Although it was not due to a mistake on my part, I have to suffer for it ... More over the cancellation amount is over 50% the price I paid for the ticket. (update and correction: It is due to my mistake in the 1st place for using cheap company such as yatra.com for booking ticket with zero customer service). Someone higher authority needs to step in and improve the system & customer service. All these airlines and travel agents have a nice way to make extra income from poor innocent passengers. Yatra.com has poor customer service, long delays in responding via customer support, telephone lines you can never get through, and even if you do, the service reps don't help at all or want to transfer you somewhere else. my 2 cents:: STAY AWAY FROM YATRA.com online booking service.
