I am having the ICICI Direct account for the last 12-13 years. Unfortunately, I did not trade before Feb-21 but just opened the account so many years ago. But I started the trading with ICICI may be in March-21 or April-21 but sudden when I got to know that they are charging the brokerage to be around 10 times more than other brokers then I started to highlight the same with ICICI but till the time I had lost around 1.25 lacs rupees in the brokerage and I requested to ICICI for the refund whatever the excess amount they took from me. but then they just only changed my plan rather than a refund.
another issue is related to commodity trading- there is an option of auto square off position in case of margin shortfall but this is also the question that before squaring off the position why they don't send any msg or email in order to alert me so that I can add my margin to save the position but they never did but why send msg and notification only after square off the postion. i have raised my case with icici many time and with my RM but problem still is the same. due to this short fall issue i have lost more than 150000 rupees.
