ICICI Securities — KYC is pending from bank side

I'm very old customer of ICICI bank. I hold my salary account. recently i open NPS account with ICICI and while contributing fund it says KYC is pending from bank side. I'm highly disappointed by it they gave call multiple times for credit card and other stuff but when it is about my KYC for NPS i haven't got any call and my KYC is still pending. i called customer care but no help. they ask me to visit branch . but then what is the advantages of opening account online?
