I had booked a train ticket from www.irctc.co.in Ticket details : pnr no: [protected] Train no : 12452 From : new delhi to kanpur Date : 23-july-2017 I got to know around 8 pm on[protected] that my ticket is not fully confirmed & is rac. So i decided to cancel it, hence i visited irctc website. But the website was down and carried a message that it will be back only next morning. Then i called up irctc helpline number[protected] to get my ticket cancelled. They were also unable to cancel my ticket due to the website being down, so they instructed me to write a mail to [protected]@irctc.co.in for getting my ticket cancelled & the time of my mail will be considered for refund rules. So i emailed for cancelling it, my mail was sent at 8.18 pm on[protected] which is around 3 hours before the scheduled departure. Now by the cancellation rules they have ro refund back the entire amount minus clerikal charges if rac tickets are cancelled 30 minutes before departure. But irctc has refused to do so, despite of writing them several mails. Now they have stopped responding also. Kindly help me with my case Was this information helpful? | |||||
