Dear sir/madam, I and my friend tried for a common ticket via the irctc.co.in website. I have first succeeded to pass through and have made the payment. Although money was deducted from my account, the website logged out my account without giving any confirmation message (As it usually happens during the tatkal time). So, having no time to recheck, my friend went ahead and succeeded in booking the ticket. However, after his attempt is confirmed, i found in my email id that my previous attempt (When the account logged out) has got the ticket booked and consequently we ended up booking two tickets due to the irctc website logging out my account without intimating the confirmation of the ticket. I would like to surrender one of the tickets and get the money (Rs. 830) refunded back. Please let me know what can i do. The pnr numbers of the tickets are provided herewith.
