Dear sir,
We had to go to dehradun to attend my cousin's marriage. So, i had booked 02 tickets thru my irctc account joshi_pk1 on train 12205 nanda devi express of 23-feb-2016 from ndls to ddn dep 23:50 hrs (Pnr [protected]).
But at 19:52 hrs on 23-feb-2016 (Few hours before train dep), i got a sms from
"dm-irsmsa"
"train no 12205 has been cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances.Inconvenience caused to passengers is deeply regretted"
So, we could not go to attend the marriage in the family.
On[protected], i wrote a mail to [protected]@irctc.Co.In with copy to [protected]@irctc.Co.In for refund of my booking amount. My email was assigned ticket id [irctc #2955332].
But on 7th may 2016, i got an email from
[protected]@irctc. Co. On
"the tdr filed against pnr number [protected] with reason train cancelled has been repudiated by the chief commercial manager/refunds nr due to reason, train not cancelled/diverted at boarding and/or reserved upto station."
I request you to kindly look into the matter. As we were forced to cancel our program due to sms just few hours before train dep from -
"dm-irsmsa"
"train no 12205 has been cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances.Inconvenience caused to passengers is deeply regretted"
I also wrote a mail to the railway minister mr. Suresh prabhu regarding this issue but got no reply from his side.
