Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation [IRCTC] — tatkal online booking error | |||||
Irctc brings system of booking of 2 tatkal ticket in a day between 8. Am to 12pm per ip address in order to eradicate commercial gains. But the system should not affect the common public. Because, as i didn't put any ticket in the month, while trying to book the tatkal ticket, it shows error msg of "you are permitted only 2 tatkal tickets between 10:00 am to 12:00 pm per ip address", where i didn't put any ticket during the month itself. Based on the google search and analysis, it has been noted, internet service provider provides internet services to multiple users on shared ip address (Dynamic ip). When some other user has already booked two tatkal tickets from the same ip before your attempt, then such message is displayed. So, the alternate arrangement need to be made by irctc in order to prevent general public to book tickets instead of getting error msg. Was this information helpful? | |||||
