Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation [IRCTC] — unhygienic coach and extremely dirty washrooms on board | |||||
Traveling on koaa agc 13167 in 2 ac. It's the worst experience in last few years. The coach was dirty, floors partly cleaned only once during about 16 hours of travel. Bedding not up to the mark. Pillow damaged and unhygienic. Window panes broken and not clean. Hawkers, tea vendors and catering staff from food plaza trespassing all too frequently until late night, from kolkata varanasi. The doors at the 2 ends of the compartment were not shutting properly. Worst of all, the wash area is so ill kempt. Washrooms, useless to say that users are responsible for the condition, were unfit for use by any hygiene conscious person particularly females. Not even once was the toilet cleaned throughout the period of travel. Why should i not expect a better service after having paid such a hey price for 2 ac. And to top it all the train is unnecessarily delayed. No weather issues, no fog, no rail roko. It has become usual to expect and accept the delays in railways it seems. I want to know how the irctc will compensate for the inconvenience due to lack of basic hygienic standards, maintenance, and unwarranted delays. Regards Was this information helpful? | |||||
