[Resolved] Irctc — NON REFUND OF AMOUNT FOR CANCELLED TRAINS | |||
Dear Sir, I had booked tickets for travel to visakhapatnam. Trains were cancelled because of the Hudhud cyclone.We took alternate transport and reached visakhapatnam. I was not able to cancel the tickets due to unavailability of internet in that area. I sent an email to IRCTC to cancel the tickets and refund the amount. i received confirmation email saying that the email is forwarded for further action. But since then have received no reply.I also called the customer care number several times. They said refund would happen by end of October. I called them again in 1st week of November. They say it would take more time. i would hereby request irctc to please review the below details and refund the amount at the earliest.
