Malabar Hill Police Station — NEXUS BETWEEN POLICE CONSTABLES AND DUTY OFFICERS

Duty Officers were not available and did not respond to telephonic calls to Malabar Hill Police Station. Three telephone calls to Malabar Hill Police Station since today morning were kept on hold. I called the Police Control Room twice to lodge my complaints of noise, nuisance and unlawful activities in the building compound. Five Police Constables came in Wireless Van after calling Police Control Room. Complaints remained unattended as the culprits were not taken to the Police Station before the Duty Officers. There seemed to be a nexus between the Duty Officers and Police Constables or the Police Constables in the Wireless Van were corrupt and were shielding the culprits. Finally, I reported the matter to the higher authorities.
