[Resolved]  Shopmantra — Fraud done

Ir, i am sasikumar want to bring it to your kind notice that on 20/05/2015 i received a call from the cell no : [protected] confirming that i am calling on behalf of sbi credit card division. You are using our credit card and having maintained a good track record of your credit card and having earned more than 10000 reward points in your account, on the basis of which our company has decided to issue one more card absolutely free of cost known as world discount card kindly confirm the particulars printed on your existing credit card because on new card the data must be same as printed on your existing credit card.In this way he obtained all particulars from me on phone. When i tried to refuse him by saying that why i should tell you my confidential details he further stated that for matching your particulrs i am sending you a six digit number on your phone. He send this six digit number on my phone and ask me to confirm the same. He further confirmed that no charges will be debited to your credit card account or no reward points will be redeemed against this transation. Immediately i got a message on my phone that transaction of rs.9, 000.00 made on sbi credit card xx7180 at shopmantraa_epaykerela on 20 may 15. When i object about he said it will be reversed to your account after 72 hours automaticaly.
I immediately reported this matter to sbi customer center and they said the transaction has been done and if the merchandise will not claim the money in 7 days, it will revert to your account and if they claim within 7 days i need to talk to merchant and hence i notified deepak in epaykerela and he asked me to drop me email to raise a dispute

O kindly help me sir in stoping the payment and get my amount reversed in my sbi credit card with 1st 4 digits 4687 and last 4 digits 7180

You are using our credit card and having maintained a good track record of your credit card and having earned more than 18000 reward points in your account, on the basis of which our company has decided to issue a new card with enhanced credit limit and asked me about the particulars printed on my existing credit card because on new card the data must be same as printed on the existing credit card . In this way he obtained all particulars from me on phone. When I tried to refuse him by saying that why i should tell you my confidential details he further stated that for matching your particular i am sending you a six digit number on your phone. He sent the six digit number on my phone and ask me to confirm the same. he further confirmed that no charges will be debited to your credit card account or no reward points will be redeemed against this transaction . Immediately i got a message on my phone that Transaction of Rs.9, 000.00 & Again 9, 000 Two times made on SBI Credit Card XX3829 at ShopMantraa_EPayKerela on 12 & 26 Sep 15. When i object about he said it will be reversed to your account and will not reflect in the statement. After 4 days i checked with one person called Rahavan & Ramesh through this number [protected]. But he said, you will get the gifts within 2 weeks and the transaction amount won't be reflected in the credit card statement. But this amount is shown in my statement that I received from SBI this month. Kindly help me sir in reversing the amount tomy sbi credit card with 1st 4 digits 4726 and last 4 digits 3829

Hello SBI,

I have got a call today morning stating that my simply save credit card required a new card with photo ID and there is going to be the new card. I did not believe and asked for the confirmation that the guy calling from SBI card devision. Immediately to my surprise, i got a message to my mobile from SBI cards stating the OTP and asked me to disclose the same OTP and then the person said, ShopMantraa credit card will be issued newly and immediately i have seen 9000 rs of transactions being made on the card - as ShopMantraa_EPayKerela with 9000 rs transaction.

I have told them clearly that this is fraud and they cannot do any transaction on behalf of the card holder. Further they have agreed to reverse the transaction and they said they are from SBI card VISA card devision.
Please reverse the transaction of RS 9000 made on this.

You are using our credit card and having maintained a good track record of your credit card and having earned more than 10000 reward points in your account, on discount card kindly confirm the particulars printed on your existing credit card because on new card the data must be same as printed on your existing credit card . In this way he obtained all particulars from me on phone.When i tried to refuse him by saying that why i should tell you my confidential details he further stated that for matching your particulrs i am sending you a six digit number on your phone. He send this six digit number on my phone and ask me to confirm the same. he further confirmed that no charges will be debited to your credit card account or no reward points will be redeemed against this transation . Immediately i got a message on my phone that Transaction of Rs.9, 000.00 made on SBI Credit Card XX4449 at ShopMantraa_EPayKerela on 19. 03.16.When i object about he said it will be reversed to your account after 72 hours automaticaly. I immediately reported this matter to sbi customer center and they said the transaction has been done by fraud group, He give some advice and block our card with my permission because avoid the problem again so kindly help me to reversed my amount in my sbi credit card with 1st 4 digits 5241and last 4 digits 4449

I also faced the issue, Some one called from [protected] on June 28th 4-4.30PM and conveyed regarding the card enhancement. I have Survived at the final step by suspecting the SMS and reading this blog(during the time I am before net). Thanks to all the people who created awareness of this fraud.
