I bought the Skoda Laura JUN 2008. I had very bad experiences on SKODA Laura HORNs and AC.
I replaced Skoda Laura Horns 3 times by under warranty period (2 Years). After Warranty I replaced with Bosch Horns (outside) because they are charging Rs 8400 for Horns. I BOUGHT NEW SKODA LAURA ON 19TH SEPTEMBER,2009
AFTER 2 MONTHS I HAD TO FACE MANY PROBLEMS UP TO TILL NOW. AFTER BUYING NEW CAR 1ST PROBLEM I FACED IS OF AIR-CONDITION COMPLAIN, WHICH WAS SOLVED BEFORE FEW MONTHS OF 2011. I HAD FACED MANY PROBLEMS LIKE AC,HORN(REPLACED 8 TIMES), FULL CLUTCH ASSEMBLY,FLY WHEEL,SPEAKERS,LIGHT,CONDENSER,BATTERY.
THESE MUCH PROBLEM I FACED TILL NOW, ALL ISSUES SOLVE NOW BUT NOT WITH PROPER TIME...

I, Basavan gouda from sindhanur purchased Skoda fabia in banglore on 23rd dec 2010. On that time by name Darshan sales executive said to give discount worth 5000. After purchase , he said discount amount will reach within 15 days. After sometime he only called me and said that courier was dispached. Darshan cheated me. My no [protected]. Pls don't buy cars in Vinayak cars pvt ltd banglore. They will cheat u like anything....

i bought a car skoda fabia last year and for my 2nd service i went to delhi named JAI AUTOS
i had some complaints which should be clear and fulfill by them.
but they didnt do that and behave rudly to me.and the complaints which i noted were still there no change and recovery was there.
due to this i lost my whole working 2 days.and still there was no progress...

My Skoda Octavia is corroding and Skoda refuse to repair under corrosion warranty, they are cheats, I would not recomend anyone to buy a Skoda car or any other car from the Volkswagen Group the body panels are terrible for rust....

This Vehicle is having a serious Manufacture defect in its AC Compressor. If you are lucky and if this problem comes to your notice with in 2 years then the company will replace free of charge else you have to shell out Rs.80,000/- just for the compressor, which is an Exorbitant price the company is charging, which we can get the same model compressor for Rs.25,000/- from outside.

This is surely a defective car sold in India.It should be banned as it robs the purchaser of its hard earned money.I was really unfortunate to purchase this car.I had to change the turbo charger,clutch flywheel assembly,ac compressor and condenser,turbo hose pipe etc. etc. soon after the warranty was over for which i had to pay the amount equal to a brand new Santro car.Please Please Please... do not buy this car.

Have owned a Skoda car for about 6 years now, firstly an Octavia RS and now a Superb. The cars are absolutely well made and are great cars. The dealer experience however sucks. everytime I have to interact with a dealer, I kick myself & wish I had not bought the car. I Have purchased Skoda Laura - Ambiente TSI on February 2011. While Selling the car Executives from the Tafe Access Ltd. gave me the price list along with the specification and standard equipment. It is clearly mentioned that Front Fog Lamp is a standard equipment in the Model I have purchased but the delivered to me has no Front Fog Lamp, instead it is been fixed with the pvc grill.

I have already brought this to the notice...

i ve been using preowned skoda superb registration no. MH-04-CT- 8900,The car has some problem in its exhaust and a/c , which inspite of complainting and getting repaired for 3 times over the period of 15 months

Hi , I am driving Skoda Octavia from November 2009. I must say this is the worst decision i have taken to purchased substandard vehicle at Rs 1200000. my agony started after driving the vehicle for 25000 km , There was a noise in brake and i got the car checked at Giriraj Motors Gurgaon, and as per them the brake shoe and disc pads are gone and need to replaced , which i did after paying Rs 11000, since the noise in the car was very common...

My Skoda Octavia diesel car bought less than three years ago caught fire yesterday due to an apparent technical fault and was burnt to ashes in minutes. There was no CNG or LPG fitted in the car. Our lives got saved by a split second as we noticed smoke on getting down from the car. The car was well maintained, in original condition and serviced in the authorised service centre just two weeks back.

What does a consumer do...

I am one of the owners of SKODA Fabia, I am undergoing through hell for driving that car. I recently saved with big accident where my breaks are not working at high speeds.

There are enough complains on this forun about breaks, AC, engine noise etc.. Search with "SKODA Fabia complaints". On top of all pathetic service from Mahavir Auto.

So I recommend to Say NO TO SKODA.
