Stray Dogs — Complaints

Dear Sir,

I am a resident of Durgesh Building flat no 16.
There is a stray dog in our society who sleeps in our lobby and practically harrows every passerby by barking and jumping on them. So far fortunately she has not bitten anyone.
Hence request to come and fetch the dog from our society before some casualty. The address as mentioned below.

I am a resident of Park View Apartments also called as Liberal Society in Paschim Vihar, New Delhi 110087. In our society stray dogs are creating nuisance, there are 19 cats as well and because of them we are scared to send our children outside to play. Children feel scared of them.

You are kindly requested to take a note of it and please take an appropriate action at the earliest.

There are lot of stray monkeys on our colony creating havoc. They have been spoiling the trees, balconies, water tanks etc.In addition it is very unsafe for children and senior citizens. Past 2, moths they are there. It's very risky kids can't go out. They are soiling the infrastructure too. Kindly look into the problem on priority as it is very bothersome.

I am akshay residing in laxmi ganga enclave, petbasheerabad beside konark hospital, hyderabad. Nuisance due to stray dogs have become an unbearable issue in my colony. We are unable to sleep at nights and children and prone to attack by stray dogs. There are atleast 10-15 stray dogs in this colony and they are creating nuisance to the public. Request you to take an action on this and send the stray animal catching team here and resolve this issue.

We the residents of puraniks aldea espanola, mahalunge, pune (beside orchid hotel) have about 10-15 stray dogs in and outside out society.

They have attacked many residents while residents carry walk in and out carrying daily essentials and is a risk for all residents including children, women and aged people.

A part of our society is still under construction and there are openings in the boundary from which the dogs come in.

It is totally unsafe. request the municipal corporation to help us with a solution before any incident happens.

I am residing at manis nagar, gandhiji road north, sanganoor, coimbatore - 27. The population of stray dogs is increasing day by day in our area. The residents of our colony are afraid of sending their children alone even in the day time to school.

These dogs chase all those who are riding vehicles including two-wheeler and cycle. The dogs also bark and chase the persons who are walking in the road during night time.

In the light of the above, the authority concerned should catch all the dogs roaming here and there in all localities of coimbatore immediately and leave all those dogs in forest areas.

Kind action is solicited.

In koparkhairne sector 17. Dogs dont allow to sleep at night. Keeps on barking whole night there are 3 dogs.

Please its a request to take them away whole society is getting distrub and childrens keeps on crying by these dog

Its a humble request to provide us dog van as soon as posible and take them away from society.

I stay in Vile parle, Mumbai. There is a cat who doesnot belong anyone in the building, but is in our building whole day. Its a complete nuisance. the cat kills pigeons n crows eats them and keeps the dead bodies to stink in front of our houses. No grill can stop as it squeezes thru it.. We have to keep wooden planks to prevent it from entering our houses. The saddest part it is that it comes only on top floor. So the other residents are not bothered to do anything. On top of that they feed the cat with left over food( fish, meat, etc). If any one knows how to get rid of stray cats.. please post..Thanks...Its been going on for last one year. I hope people understand our plight. Its disgusting to see dead birds in front of your door just when u leave for work in the morning.

I am a resident of N-block, Greater Kailash-I, New Delhi. This is as regards the nuisance of stray dogs in our area, making it virtually impossible for pedestrians to walk around the area.

The number of dogs is glaring high and they are a huge risk to anyone walking around the area as they start barking furiously on anyone who even crosses them. It is becoming increasingly difficult to take our morning walks there as groups of ferocious dogs start immediately barking and running behind the scared passerby's.

Through this complaint, you are requested to kindly look into the matter at the earliest and make the colony safe for its residents, as there are senior citizens as well as children who frequently venture out and go for thier walks/play around the area. Infact N block market is very crowded and is frequented by people all over delhi and thus it is also necessary that the safety of the shoppers is also taken into consideration.

As a lawyer and a citizen I deemed it proper to complain against such nuisance and I hope my complain shall be taken and acted upon urgently.

I am a resident of Bangalore (full address is Krishna Temple Road, K.G.Halli, Bangalore - 560045) The stray dogs are posing a huge threat here. Every atleast the dogs have bitten more than 15 to 20 passer-bys. I request you to kindly send a dog catcher at the earliest.

It has been an immense explosion of noise pollution during the nights and also very unsafe for any human soul to walk through the lane.

I do understand the lw passed under the animal protection act and do abide with the same, however if the Law is coming in the well being of the society it would be a legitimate injustice not to revert to resolve the issue.

If Menika Gandhi has stood thought out to get this law in force, she should have also looked at the pros and cons of the same.

we are fed up with the stray dogs in this locality since 1 year.Some of the dogs have even started attacking the women and children during late evening.Minor incidents may become major over a period of time.It has become very difficult for the residents to walk around in this area.

This is to inform you that there are so many stray dogs in C4E Block, Pocket 11, Janakpuri, delhi ( Near House No. 167). it has become difficult and unsafe for the children to play aroud that area.these dogs not only scare the children but also make the area dirty by nature call. MCD Complaints - Street Dogs in our colony
I am resident of Railway coloney Anand Vihar, Delhi-92

We are facing a fear for ourself and our children due to the Stray Dogs in our locality who are increasing in numbers day by day.

They keep barking through out Night which disturb peaceful environment of nights for sleeping

Also they sleeps at stairs and do anywhere at people’s houses

There is no check from MCD department on this front.

You are requested to bring this problem in the notice of the concerned person so that our locality get rid of these dangerous dogs.

This is Sri Sabarish. I stay in 12th 'A' main road, BTM layout 1st stage. We ( the residents of 12th 'A' main road, BTM layout 1st stage) have a huge problem because of the increase in number of stray dog population. There are lot many number of stray dogs in our locality. Residents in our locality are very afraid to walk in the street during night time. Also theese stray dogs make a huge lot of noise during night. Because of this people ( small children, old people and ladies) feel very inconvenient to sleep.

We donot get a proper sleep becuase of the loud noise they make during night.

Kindly i request the concerned authorities to take necessary action as soon as possible.

I am living in Shivaji Park, Punjabi Bagh and feeling unsafe everyday because of the dogs getting ferocious day by day and the no. are increasing daily . In few months time i can see many dogs here which are not just a threat but a total disaster for the safety we require while coming out of our homes.These dogs have bitten sevral residents of the colony.

Some of the dogs even are developing the behavior of teasing everything that comes in there way, the dogs are also contracting contiguous diseases so as making the place smelly. Some of the dogs are even wounded enough to develop new kind of infection onto each other.These dogs have made in their homes in the main stair case blocks causing inconvenince to the residents.

Kindly please take necessary steps to remove these dogs from the colony and i will be very grateful for the cause.

My name is Savi, would like to bring your kind attention on the problem relates with stray dogs in the area near building no. 70 Gandhi Nagar, Bandra (E) Mumbai 51. Sir, there are so many street dogs in this locality because of them it’s very difficult to take step out from our houses. The dogs mostly chasing to all small kids, bike rider, cycle rider, who pass through them. There are more than 20 stray dogs in our locality. We are concerned about the children who are often seen playing on the streets. The address is: 4th Cross, Vyalikaval Layout, (V.K.H.B.C.S), Marenahalli, Vijayanagar, Bangalore-40 (near G.K.W Layout). I tried contacting CUPA today who told me that you have not renewed the contract this year.

The evenings are really scary... as the night sets in, one does'nt know from where these dogs come from as we don't find even one during the day. They come in groups and keep barking throughout the night.

Request you to action the above on priority before any damage is made. Kindly treat this as urgent. Thank you!

I would like to bring into your kind notice that I am a residence of Prakash Mohall, East of Kailash, New Delhi-110065, and facing a great problem by the stray dogs which bites the residence and a major threat to out pet dogs also. I have a pet dog < and you know that we spend a lot of money for their vaccination and other medical treatments, I just can't take my dog for a walk as the stray dogs always try to bite my dog or to me, kindly help us in the matter and remove the stray dogs from our locality.

I am a resident of RZ-34/261, M-Block, West sagarpur, New Delhi -110046. The number of stray dogs in our area increased considerably in past few months. however stray dogs are a big threat. Stray dogs in our area are becoming wild these days, they bark, charge and try to bite people passing by, jump over the roof of the resident's cars and spoil the vehicle body by putting scratches on them. this is a very serious problem in our area when people go for evening walks or morning walks and to kids playing outside their houses. Also sometimes, when people buy eatables from the nearby market, stray dogs follow them and sometimes attack or charge to get the food. I request the concerned MCD officials to kindly take the required action and save us from this peril. Thanks...
