[Resolved] Tata Photon Plus — Tata Photon Fraudulent billing | |||
I am using a corporate postpaid plan for photon plus named - [protected]@9600 ARP Capping Plan. This plan entitles me to use 10 GB/month of high speed usage and unlimited usage at low speed after 10GB is consumed. Now, this is my first month and I had just used 6.7 GB till 22nd October. But the same day, I received a message stating that I have crossed my 10 GB limit and hence speed is throttled to 153 kbps from 3.1 Mbps. I have the proof that even to this date, I have not crossed the usage limit. The tata photon website shows my usage to be 6.8 GB till date. I am also using a bandwidth monitor software on my system which also shows my usage to be just 6.8 GB till date. When I called the customer care regarding this, they said that their internal system reflects it to be more than 10 GB. How the hell can their official website and my software can be wrong at the same time? And even I know by myself that my usage is nowhere close to 10 GB. I called them multiple times and wrote multiple e-mails. But they just plainly refused my plea and now they don't even reply to my e-mails. They have some stupid and uneducated people sitting at the customer care level who don't understand a word I say and give purely foolish arguments just to delay the request. Here are some incidents: 1. They are saying it takes 24-36 hrs to reflect the usage stats in their website. Who's to tell those that I have waited 5 days and the usage even till 2 days later is shown as 6.8 GB. The website mentions clearly that it takes 24-36 hrs to reflect the usage for the current day and the day before. That clearly means that at 26-Oct, the stats would be updated for 26th and 25th, obviously not for 22nd. What's worse that even now they are giving the same reason. 2. When I email them, they don't understand a word and copy-paste per-defined answers telling me that I have crossed the 10GB limit hence my speed has been reduced. 3. I sent them the screenshots of both the software report and website report showing my usage, but the guy there doesn't know how to open e-mail attachments. When I sent it again with inline images and direct links, they stopped replying to my e-mails.
