AirTel — Unnecessary Deduction from Prepaid mobile Balance
I am having Airtel Prepaid connection. On 01.08.2008 I have received message stating that my account was debited with Rs. 7 and Rs.7 for renewal of miscellaneous which I never used. I tried to contact to customer care. But it was continuously showing as "Number not in Use", this is the most ridiculous part as this was a situation for customer care No, then you can easily guess what will be condition of other no. At last with continuous efforts of 2 hours I managed to contact to customer care execuitive. But he refused to take complaint stating that data is not updated in the system.I had enquired about any email address. He told me address as [protected]@airtel.in which was not a valid address. Somehow I managed to send email on [protected]@airtelindia.com on 01.08.2008. I got auto response about confirmation of recipt and promise of reply within 24 Hours. But till today I have not received any communication from Airtel. On 03.08.2008 I have received one more message about deduction of Rs. 7/- for the same reason.

AirTel — account deducted unnecessarily
SIR,FROM YESTERDAY EVENING I HAVE BEEN GETTING MESSAGES(5:26 PM DATED 23.4.09).AND RIGHT FROM THAT MOMENT MY 300RS HAS BEEN DEDUCTED.I HAD TALKED TO THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE AND THEY ARE SAYING THAT I HAD SUBSCRIBED A SERVICE FROM AIRTEL LIVE.I HAD NEVER OPENED AIRTEL LIVE.EVEN THEY HAVE CHARGED MONEY AND HADNT GIVEN ME ANY CONTENT EVEN BY DEDUCTING MY MONEY
THIS IS BIG CHEATING.I WANT MY MONEY BACK

Airtel Mobile — Unnecessary deductions
My son and parents use an airtel prepaid connection on an old nokia 1100 type of mobile phones, since a couple of months it has been observed that their is a sudden deduction in the available balance against job alert services, hello tune services, VAS downloads, etc. When I contacted the airtel customer care dept, none of the customer care associate responded in a proper way, the associates simply transferred the call to their superiors and most of the time the superiors (sr. supervisors and sr. managers) themselves cut-off the phone because they could not give any clarifications against the deductions. They have deducted Rs 120/- against VAS downloads, VAS download requires GPRS activated and we have not activated GPRS on any of our phones then how is it possible, my son is a school going kid and my parents are old above 70 yrs of age, its common sense that none of them will opt for job alert or any kind of services.After calling the customer care for several times they have refund partial amount, but after 5 to 6 days they again deduct the amount giving any fake reasons.
The customer care associates are not ready to register the complaint nor they provide any reference.
These facts of airtel should be escalated publically and everyone should change the service providers to other than airtel.

Airtel Mobile Phone — deduction of unnecessary payment
Sir,My mobile phone no. is [protected]. Since last 3/4 months Airtel is deducting Rs.0.30 frequently showing a message last call charges, even when my phone is in my pocket or on my table. I can not understand why Airtel is deducting this amount, when I am not making any calls.
I lodged this complaint several times earlier, but I did not get any positive response from them.

Today, I received a sevice message from 543211 to my mobile no:[protected] deduction of Rs.45 for 'hello tune' activation from Airtel. I enquired in customer care and they said that we activated the service.then immedietly I sent a massage to deactivate the hello tune service.In reply I got the sevice massage stating that ;Hello tune service is deactivated. But, the deducted ammount Rs 45/- is not credited to my balance account. please help me in restoring my balance ammountAirTel — UNNECESSARY DEDUCTION

my mobile no. is [protected] several times my balance has been deducted from my account. latest on27 Feb 2011early morning i got a sms that i have been charged with Rs35 (30+05) Rs 30 for some games download and Rs 05 for some games club subscription which i have neither downloaded nor subscribed to my surprise these services have been activated/downloaded at that time when even i have not touched my mobile i was sleeping i dont know that i can operate my phone while sleeping thanks to air tel for discovering this quality of me jokes apart please refund my amount.this is my very hard earned money
AirTel — Unnecessary deduction
Iam having offer msgs of 4500 and its last expiry date is march 5th but if i send an sms today the amount is deducting from main balance, this is very serious please do it asap. this happnd to me too nw. i called the customer care n they r telling that only 100msgs per day is free in any sms pack plan in Maharashtra Airtel Service. Im using 67rs sms pack which has 15000 sms (local+National) free per month. so a sum of 500 msgs per day. But if i send a msg now it costs me 1.5rupees from main balance of the account. This is a serious issue because they are showing bogus plans by activating the 100msg per day across MH&Goa. Pls solve this issue.

DEAR SIR ,i have two nos. of airtel service provider e.i.[protected] and[protected] with the name of JASBIR SINGH so far, always i have been deducted lot of balance from abovesaid nos. without sending any request by me, and i got lot of mental harrassment whenever i complaint to customer care they promise me to reduce that deducted charges but i never get adjusted my money till now therefore it is to request you that find some solution for me or suggest me how to claim for my lot of refund which has been deducted by the company. THANKS.

dear sir my number is [protected] of airtel. from some time my no. seems unreachable by my friends who trying calling me. i tried to complaing in customer care many time but they always says that it will done. but the problem remain the same once i goes to nearer cutomer care cente i saw him my cell and told about this problem..then they said some call forwarding thing activated in my cell but still they cant able to solve my problem o[censored]nreachable by some one who trying to call me...what to do i m thingking to change my service but want to tell you if you can give me some solution...

AirTel — deduction on my Account Balance.
Some day before i have purchased a Airtel No. [protected] next day my mobile had Activated, After some time i received a MSG (Jokes), then i contact to 121 and say that i m not subscribe any services but i receive jokes MSG.After a week i recharge a mobile Rs.25 then Switch off mobile, i m opening a mobile on 18th May, 08 i found that my balance is Rs.1.26. i contact to 121 and say for a complaint, my reference is no.[protected].
but no action has been done.
