[Resolved] Tikona — Extra billing charged | |||||
Dear Sir/Mam, My internet connection was installed on 27/11/15. Since then I've been spending tons of money by calling their customer care and waiting in queues since the number provided on their website is not toll free :[protected] I had a 4mbps plan but I used to spend hours just to connect to their server let alone the speed. They took 2 months of advance while installing so when I asked customer care to disconnect and return my money they said please don't disconnect they'll reimburse everything and settle it in my bill once my issue is resolved. After weeks of efforts when their engineer came he said "Someone just installed internet connection here to fulfill their quota as there's no tower here nearby". I told him to report it to their office and disconnect my connection. Everything was happening in month of January which I've already paid for in advance. I still kept calling their customer care but they always said they are working on it. Until one day they called me on 5-Feb-16 for my next bill. I said I've already asked for disconnection and I'm not using it anymore. They said you've used it on 2nd Feb and I said my wife was only trying to connect to server. I got so frustrated that I wrote them a mail to disconnect my connection on 5-Feb-16. Please find attached copy. I had already paid up to 27 January 2016. So I was hoping I'll get some reimbursements after disconnection. But they did not disconnect and kept generating my bill and kept calling me everyday. But when I asked them to reimburse my money instead they filed a report to CIBIL. Yesterday I had to pay 1200 to Tikona just to save my CIBIL report. I'm a software engineer so I needed internet connection desperately to work from home. I've bought 3 dongles since. I've 3 airtel internet connection reimbursement checks since they did not have feasibility in my area. Tikona should have done the same. My poor wife failed her online exam just because she did not had any internet to practice. And above all that I'm paying money to an internet provider who does not even care about their consumers. I've read much about how consumer complaints are being resolved quickly these days. I never did it before but I couldn't help myself this time. Please help us.
