Hi,

I am receiving calls from videocon without an intension of solving problems. A person named palak gandhi called me stating that he wants to know what the problem was.

We were on the call for 40 mins but he wasn’t able to provide me with the resolution.

I explained him that i recharged my stb on 20th nov 2016 at around 1.40am because i wanted to watch my favorite football match but the message on the tv was something like channel unsubscribed or recharge to view channel.

I called videocon. A person asked me to wait for 10 min. I waited for 30min. Then i called 2nd time the agent said wait for another 10mins.

I asked him last agent told me the same thing. He said i am processing some kind of different request. I asked him what is the difference between his and yours.

He said last agent has probably not put the request. He asked me to wait for 10 more mins. I waited another 30 mins.

Then i called again. 3rd person named nainesh said we have done all possible things from our end now you will have to pay 200 for engineer visit.

I was shocked because my home channel was working just fine.
I told him that there are no issues with my setup box.

He said there is an issue with the setup box. He was not ready to listen to me but interested to send an engineer.

I asked him to re take my request because my setup box seems to be ok. He never wanted me to help anymore.

I warned him that if my setup box starts working fine and come out to be no issues it won’t be fair harassing people like sending engineer.

I was 100% sure that there is nothing wrong with the setup box.

Guess what?

After couple of hours the setup box started working fine with no issues. It is working fine now.

I am very disappointed with the service provided by the videocon company.

I am sure the agents are more interested in sending engineer but to help someone over the call.

I read the same on social media when a man called; he was insisted to get the engineer instead of helping him.

This incident made me unhappy because i am not only the victim.
Today palak gandhi called me with regard to the same concern.

I explained him the issue and asked for the compensation for the inconvenience and guess what? He gave me sorry for the inconvenience.

I told him my setup box is ok if there would have been an issue with my setup box that i had never worked fine.

Since the problem was from videocon’s side i was not able to see the channels.

He said then why other customers didn’t face the same issue. This is the stupid question i have ever heard.

If the problem is with my stb why is it working now? This is the technical world nothing can happen automatic.

If the problem is with not my setup box then there could be 4 possibilities
1. The agents were sleeping at night

2. They didn’t want to process my request

3. They were more interested in sending engineer out instead of helping

4. Or may be they are drunk because i read on social media that the videocon agent was sounding drunk and was babbeling.

Immediately i sent email to videocon for the same.
I think after reading my email they have actually processed my requested and

The stb started showing all the channels which i was cent percent that there is nothing wrong wih mt stb.

Finally i wasted 3 hours and for the match i did the recharge ended.

I left very disappointed that i spent rs.360 specially to watch my fav. Match is ended.

A complete waste of money and time.

I asked palak gandhi to ge t me the refund and let my stb work for 30 days for such a big inconvenience that i have face.

I suffered for nothing.
But he was interested in saying sorry rather helping me an noting down my concern.

I don’t need sorry. I need proper compensation.
He said the problem is not from their side. I proved him that

If the problem is with my stb then why it is working fine now? With no issues.

Nothing can be automatic in this technical world.
So if the problem is not with my stb then it could be an issue from videocon’s side right?

Do you agree with me?

He agreed, i asked for the compensation. He said sorry as a compensation.
Tell me if you guys agree that there were some issues from your side may be satellite or anything else why should i suffer?

Right?

I need compensation but palak gandhi called me with a mindset that there is no compensation for the same.

Please ask someone who can manage this issue. Get someone who can atleast talk sensible. He was not at all good in terms o[censored]nderstanding customer.

He agreed the issue from videocon’s side still refused to compensate.

If you agree then compensate for my inconvenience. This is [censored] that even though you agree your mistake you are denying for the compensation.

If you guys cannot then let me introduce videocon service to other services such as airtel, sun, tata sky & yes consumer court.

Once again,

Get me the compensation or else i would love to send the same email to their fans on social media. This can help videocon to compensate and improve their service for sure.

Again one final time.

You agreed your mistake after i proved that the problem was from your side. Now i am asking for the compensation.
