[Resolved] Xolo — Insufficient product testing of Xolo Q700i | |||
a) Purchased Q700i in Jan 2014. Had no problem whatsoever until 2 months ago. Suddenly I was randomly being shown the "Batter over temperature..." message. It had 2 options, Snooze and Dismiss. Even after dismissing, every once in a while I kept receiving that message. Few days later, another big problem. Phone was automatically switched off at random intervals. Moreover, after charging for an hour and a half, it showed 95% charged but after 10 mintues, it showed battery less than 15%. This proves there was insufficient testing done and there must have been a compromise on the quality of the product. The batter warranty is only of 6 months, and no product throws problems in the first 6 months. I knew I shouldn't be purchasing a Xolo (had never heard of in Jan 2014) and had bought Samsung. Sigh!!! b) Xolo Customer Care is a joke. I had to call 4-5 times to be able to share my problem with the representative. At one such occasion, the representative always had one answer "it is confidential, we cannot share this information" to any question I asked. I was only asking about myself and did not ask about companies roadmap or any other customer's information. Later, I asked him to let me speak to a supervisor. I explained my whole story to the supervisor (which I doubt he was) and much to my surprise, he cut the call saying "I cannot hear you which is why I have to hang up. Have a good day ahead". I was pissed to the core. Is this how a customer is treated at Xolo? If you are reading this and want to make sure customers are somewhat happy, kindly ensure your representatives are i) above a certain age (i.e. adult) so they know how to speak to a customer. ii) educated, so customers don't have a tough time dealing with them. People at Xolo, grow up when it comes to serving customer. Frustrated customer. Was this information helpful? | |||
