[Resolved]  Yatra Online — Request reschedule. No response from 2 months

I am a retired government employee. I booked an international trip via Yatra (Ref YH1993473) for Nov 2nd. We wrote to Yatra couple of days before the trip that my wife was hospitalized with Dengue and is unable to travel. Yatra responded and asked me for Dr's certificate which we provided. They said they will respond in 72 hours on when we can reschedule. It has been 2 months and we have seen no response from them. All we want is to reschedule the date and pay the difference in price if any. Please help us get a response from them. Contact Phone number :[protected]. Name : K Kuttan

I received a call from someone representing yatra. They said that they cannot re-schedule but instead they can cancel this and refund the amount.
But to refund they amount, I have a initiate a transaction through an ATM with Yatra and cancel the the transaction in the last minute for them to establish a back door communication channel to then transfer money into my account.
This does not sound legitimate to me. Why can't Yatra deposit money to my account directly or mail me a DD or a cheque?

We truly apologize for the inconvenience you have faced in this regard, as per our records you have spoken to our team related to your pending refund and was advised that refund o[censored]SD 150 againt Land services is under process. Refund waiver is still awaited from Air Asia for flight refund. Refund will take 5-7 working days to be credited into your account.

Would like to inform that refund of INR 10, 125.00 has been initiated from our end. We have contacted the airline and they denied for the refund. Hence, We are unable to process the air refund
