Yatra.com — Baggage promised but not included in the package | |
I had booked a holiday package for Malaysia with Yatra.com in June. "Return airfare" was included in the trip. Yatra booked my flights with AirAsia. Before booking the package I had confirmed with their sales agent whether baggage will be included in the package or not and he replied positively.
But Now after booking and paying, when I got tickets, It has provision of only cabin baggage. When I brought up with this sales executive, He is saying I have to pay extra for booking baggage (bare minimum 15 Kg per person). When I am taking a holiday package, I expect such basic amenities to be booked along with. Is one supposed to travel without baggage going on a holiday trip.
I tried to convince Yatra people but no avail, they now are saying that only cabin package was included in the package, but there was no such mention in the package details. I am cheated by this lying and not stating all the things explicitly before booking.
I had some other better packages from other travel agents who were offering AirIndia flights, but I booked with Yatra thinking they are market leader and can serve customer better. Was this information helpful? | |
