service center for Skoda vehicle owners in Pune, quite disappointing. The real surprise came when I went to collect the car in the afternoon. I found that it was not washed or even wiped inside and the service center workers had added a few complimentary foot marks around. The Service Advisor told me that the engine bay is not washed as per Skoda instructions due to possible damage to the electricals (first time I am hearing this nonsense having had various cars for the last 30 years) and he could not comment on why the lack of cleaning of the car under or inside with a damp cloth to remove mud marks etc was not done...
