I booked in Gurung Guest House listing in booking.com on 07-Oct-20.
On 13-Oct-20, the listing tried background payment on my credit card that got declined. Then I contacted the phone number shared in the email and payment link was shared to me, and I paid Rs.6679 while being on the call with him.
On 17-Oct-20, my friend shared me a facebook link stating some invalid booking are being made through booking.com and another company. I called up the property owner (Mr. Dipendra Gurung) and got it confirmed that the listing is not his. He also suggested to contact a2zRoomz for the refund. I claimed the refund to a2zRoomz through email on the same day.
On 30-Oct-20, I called up the booking. com listing number who I called up earlier to make the payment. He said a refund is already initiated. But I have not received the refund yet (2 months after raising the dispute).
Please help me getting the refund. Also please see how other consumers can be saved from this false listing and falling in the trap.
