The bus i booked was supposed to be at 3:15 am and i had called the driver before 3am to check where he was. He said it would take another 30 mins for the bus to reach the pick up point. I was waiting in the pick up point, called him after 30mins and the call wasn't getting connected so i just waited at the stop. There was no diwakar travels bus that passed by me and i didn't pay too much attention to the intercity buses that were going by. I then called the driver at around 4:30 to see where he was and he said he crossed my pick up point almost an hour ago and that 7 other passengers got into the bus at my stop.
Firstly, there weren't 7 passengers waiting at my pick up point. Secondly, and more importantly, i received no call from the driver informing that the bus had reached the pick up point. I booked a seat and clearly stated that i would be boarding the bus at that point, which means that if that particular seat is not occupied at my pick up point, he should call and confirm and make sure what's happening right? Well he didn't. I was stuck in an unknown city at 4:30am in the morning and had no idea what to do. I'm a single woman traveller and this behavior on the drivers part is unacceptable.
Abhibus keeps sending me a message everyday since then saying that the complaint is lodged and that they will look into it but its been a week and i have seen no resolution. Nobody even called me to verify my side of the story. When i called customer care just now, he said it's been resolved and that no action is being taken on the travels and i'm not getting any refund either.
