Accenture India — Cleared all rounds, rejected due to graduated from magadh university: c2617390

Hi,

I applied for the role of Demand Planning Specialist in Accenture. This role was for Accenture's client ABI (CID - C2617390 ). After clearing all the rounds (2 managerial rounds, technical rounds, client round and HR round) I was told that my candidature can not be taken forward as I graduated from Magadh University Bodh Gaya Bihar. According to Back Ground Check team of Accenture, Magadh University is FAKE university and same is declared by UGC. However I checked on UGC website and found no truth in the allegation. More than rejection for a certain position, it was like questioning the integrity of my degree, education and university's reputation. As per the recruiting team, Accenture had declared Magadh University as FAKE university and had put in its 'Do not hire' list since 2013. More importantly, i completed my graduation in 2002. After having 13 years of experience and working with MNC, its very unethical to reject any competent candidate who has cleared all mandatory rounds of interview like this.
Would appreciate your intervention in the case.
