Accenture India — Employe Referral application (CID: C[protected] removed by Accenture ILLOGICALLY!!!

Hello,

I have a job application with Accenture (CID: C[protected] which was raised through the LinkedIn channel and there are no updates on it yet (status showing as "Pending Review).

I got in touch with my friend who works in Accenture and requested an Employee Referral to one of the open positions. The process started and my application was selected (with CID:[protected]. I got a call for initial screening and then the status was updated to "Interview(s)/Interviewing". I even got the Assessment Test email which I took and cleared. Later on, my interview was also scheduled (on 27th Oct 2021) but 1 day before the interview, I got a call from my point of contact stating that I already have an application with CID: C10128971, and due to this, my current application with CID: 10250351 will be removed. She further stated that if there are suitable demands as per my 1st application, then the company will revert. But, for now, my 2nd application (which was already selected as per the open demand and interview scheduled) will be deleted as they will give preference to 1st application ONLY.

I am surprised and furious about Accenture's hiring process as they simply removed my selected, in-progress, and in-queue for interview application just because in the system there was already an old application that was not even reviewed by the company. I even asked HR to reject or withdraw the 1st application with CID: C10128971 so I can move ahead with my current application with CID: 10250351 wherein the same was selected as per the demand and interview was scheduled. This is just RIDICULOUS on part of Accenture's hiring system.

I even got in touch with the Accenture Scheduling team to which they say they can't reject or withdraw an application and also can't raise any ticket for the same. Sending email queries to Accenture Support, Point of Contact also doesn't work as there is no reply on them ever.

Due to this, I'm unable to apply or get referred successfully to any other open position in Accenture. I am serving a notice period and this scenario has affected me mentally and also cost me time.

I want to get rid of this application with CID: C10128971 ASAP so I can get referred to the current open position in Accenture. All screenshots w.r.t both the CID's are attached for reference.

Please look into it on priority and do the needful.
