manufacturing defect

I had purchased an acer laptop on 3rd of Feburary 2009. model-travelmate 5730.within a few days of purchase i started having problems as it had a severe manufacturing defect. the screen used to turn white as i moved the screen of the laptop. earlier it did not happen that often so i did not pay the required attention. but later on when it started happening on a regular basis i went to the store where i bought it from. they said that this...

Poor Quality of service and commitment

Dear All,

I am facing a very bad experience with my ACER Aspire 4810 laptop.

The keyboard impressions(Space bar is more because the height of space bar is more than the other keys) are came on the screen within one month(Design defect), I approached there service center(M/s. Vaibhav Solutions,Mangalore) and i got very rood reply that "this is normal and we cant do any thing on that".

Defective Laptop

To whomsoever it may concern

This is with reference to the Acer laptop - Model TM5730 (Serial Number: LXTQ20C[protected]C2000) I purchased in May 2009 from AACTIVE TINY LAPTOPS, Velachery, Chennai - 42, an authorized dealer for Acer laptops.

Even in the warrenty period they taking responsibilty

I bought a laptop from chrome,pune (aser aspire 6930) in October for which they promised me one year warranty but now when I am facing a problem in my screen I went to them they said me to go to acer's service center. I went there and they are charging me Rs 12000 to give me the service for my laptop which is in the warranty period.

please help me out to find a solution.

Laptop LCD screen

My son had given his Laptop Model No. Aspire 4736 to Vashi (New Mumba) Service Centre for replacement of the defective LCD Screen on 5.12.09 and paid Rs.9,500/- towards the full cost of LCD screen.The service centre had promised to return back the laptop with new LCD screen within 21 days time.

However, since then more than one month's time has elapsed but the LCD part has still to be received by Acer Vashi Service Centre....

I had purchased a TFT monitor Model No. ACER and in 2 days after the purchase , I found a white DOT at the centre of the screen .
When the service personals came from Redington for service after continuous reminders for nearly over a month they told me that it is not repairable and they will not replace the screen as there is only one dot.They say that they will repair if there is more than 4 dots.
I dont know what is the logic...

Defective Product

I had bought an Acer laptop on 14th Nov’09.

I am very disappointed and disheartened about ACER's servicing and product quality. I am feeling betrayed by a company of stature like ACER.

The laptop in question was hardly a month old when I took it to the service center on 15th No’09, I was told that its LCD screen has gone faulty and need to be replaced!!!!!!

Does ACER provide such kind...

Keyboard issue

I brought this laptop on the 21/Oct/2009 and in December the keyboard stopped working.So I took it to the service station in Sector 17 Vashi Navi Mumbai on the 20/Dec/2009 and till now I have not recived a replacement.It almost has been two weeks.The staff at the service station is not friendly nor is the customer service number.When ever i call up they give me a different excuse .So if you can help me I would really appreciate it....
