Dear Sir/Madam,
I have been emailing since June 2020 Adani Electricity Customer Support requesting to provide me March 2020 actual bill with actual meter readings 033855 (scanned photo of meter reading provided). I also mentioned that my flat is vacated by the Tenant on March 26, 2020 and since then it is vacant and unused till today. As such no electricity is used since March 26, 2020 as main power switch is off for safety and security reasons. However, I never received requested March 2020 bill with actual with meter readings provided by me till date. Instead I kept on getting average bills with the result I ended up paying more than Rs. 2, 000 to avoid unnecessary disconnection. Without Adani Electricity March 2020 actual bill based on meter readings provided I cannot collect my money from the ex-Tenant. Please help me and take a note of my flat being vacant and unused since March 2020. Please look into my case and resolve it.

    Please find attached the noc from oberoi construction pvt ltd for change in the ownership. I have also paid the latest july bill.

      Since last 4 months our bill is coming double the amount it usually comes. Since our usage is not 600 units per month. The meter is showing 600 units. The meter is showing faulty units. Hence i request you to change the meter.

      This is with reference to the complaint received through Consumer Helpline GOI portal, pertaining to a billing related issue.

      Due to Covid-19 precautionary directives issued by the regulator - MERC, our Customer Care Centers / Bill Payment Centers / Meter Reading / Bill Distribution / Meter testing etc. which required human interface had been closed and only critical services like power supply restoration were continued with.

      The above steps have been taken as directed by the regulator MERC, in the “Practice Direction” document issued on 26/03/2020. The document can be referred here: https://www.adanielectricity.com/-/media/Project/Electricity/home/Practice%20Dir...

      Accordingly, the bills for the month of Mar-2020 Apr-2020 & May-2020 were generated on the basis of estimated consumption. Reason for the same has been explicitly mentioned in the "Important Messages" section of the bills.

      Subsequently, the actual meter reading was taken on 29/06/2020 for calculation of billing month Jun-2020. Based on the meter reading collected, actual number o[censored]nits consumed between 29/02/2020 and 29/06/2020 were calculated.

      However, it is not possible for us to ascertain the exact consumption in each of these 4 months – Mar-2020, Apr-2020, May-2020 and Jun-2020. Hence, these units have been apportioned uniformly between the 4 months (based on the number of days in each month), so that you are not charged in a higher slab in any particular month.

      Based on above calculations, it was found that you were underbilled for billing month Mar-2020, Apr-2020 & May-2020. The actual units consumed during the period were 1947, however you were only billed for 719 units. Hence, the payable bill amount was recalculated and the unbilled amount of Rs.13, 217.24 was added in the billing month Jun-2020, generated on 06/07/2020, under the head "Net Previous Balance".

      Please refer the table appended below, which explains the difference between the units billed and actual units consumed during Mar-2020, Apr-2020 & May-2020:


      A copy of the bill, which explains the calculation of the differential bill amount is also being attached herewith, for your reference.

      Further, we confirm the receipt of the last payment made by you, for Rs.1, 710, against the May-2020 bill. Please refer the message printed under the “Important Messages” section of the Jun-2020 bill, which acknowledges the receipt of this payment.

        Dear sir,

        We have received heavy electricity bill for rs. 6650.00 for the month of june-2020 which we have paid on 13th july 2020.

        Again we have recieved bill for rs 6240/- fr the month of july-2020 for which due date is on 20th august 2020

        We need to know our meter reading for the month of june and july, as we think that bill amount is exorbitant and wrongly charged.

          On 22 April i have made the below complaint to Adani Electricity but nothing has been done about it till date and on the contrary Mr.Michael and his wife Manjula pereira has made a police complaint on me at Gorai police station about the cable wire.

          Dear Sir,

          I have exchanged several emails with the adani customer care team on my load fluctuation problems and so as as a temporary relief i was provided a 25 mm cable from the mini pillar near OM wadi.

          However on 21st April 2020 during the lockdown period Mr.Michael Anthony Pereira and his wife Ms Manjula Pereira who taking advantage of the lock down had cut off all their trees and and burnt the roots down. They lit a fire just where the reliance cable was laid safely your staff along the border of the road, when i saw this i went and stood there expressing the danger as the cable could catch fire as it was a huge fire and so he asked his staff to put out the fire.
          Mr.Michael Pereira removed the cable and put it outside on the common road and the same is unsafe for all o[censored]s now and a threat and danger to many lives.

          Request you to kindly take the necessary safety measures required to safeguard the cable and also necessary STRICT action against Mr Michael pereira and Ms.Manjula pereira for doing illegal and neglant action during the lock down period thus causing threat and mental stress endangering many lives.

          I am constantly following up with Adani on email since April 2020 but noting has happened in the last 3 months. how can you help me please as now Mr. Michale and his wife Manjula are threatening me with police complaints to cut the electric line.

          If a huge fire of 3 to4 feet high is lit next to a 25 mm connected cable line by an Individual what should be the action taken by Adani on the individual who has lit the fire ? should they let him go free for such a negligent and inhuman act during the lOCKDOWN ? which would have deprived me of my Basic necessity of electricity ?that too during such a critical time in April 2020.             Dear sir/madam,

            I am a resident of mumbai. I live in a 1 room kitchen. I have received a bill of rs. 14800/- (Amendment date from 10 march 2020 to 08 june 2020) and during lockdown i had paid 2500/- or more for each month (March, april, may). So a total of rs 22, 300 (March, april, may and june). Kindly explain to me how a 1 room kitchen can get a bill of rs. 5575 on average per month. I am shocked as every month i get a bill of rs. 3000-3.500 which is still believable. And the usage has been same till date. Kindly do the needful and oblige to take some action on this matter as soon as possible.

              This is to inform you that my bill amount for june 2020 is very very high, the amount is 14600 rupees. I have paid amount for all bills on monthly basis and no bills are pending, not sure why you have sent such an high amount for june. My monthly bill which comes is average approx 3000rs and suddenly in june it shows 14600 rupees

                Dear sir/madam, i am a resident of bandra west, mumbai. We have adani electricity giving us power. My average electricity bill is around 7000 to 8000 inr per month. But for the month of june i have received a bill of 27000 inr!!!
                My consumption is the same it was all the pervious three months during lockdown. This is a complaint of many citizens across mumbai and india.
                Not only is this bill deceitful, undemocratic but unlawful and this company should be taken to task for cheating and robbing its citizens!

                  Adani Electricity Mumbai has send an inflated bill of Rs 9080 after the lockdown,
                  There is not been any justification of such a high bill,

                  The government is supported to help the citizens not loot them by sending such high bills.

                    For the last 7-8 months since our electricity supplier has moved to adani, the units have almost doubled up which has resulted in more than double bill. I haven't bought a single new appliance, not even a new light bulb and as we live on rent we have basic equipments only. Our bill which was originally rs.700 with almost 120 units is now averaging more than 200 units with rs. 1700 as the average bill, and again this is with no new electrical appliance. We are living in the same house for the last 3 years and this incident has only occuredafter adani took over here.
                    This is unfair business from the company,. So please respond soon

                      Hi,

                      This is in regards to the increasing amount of light bill that we are getting.
                      We have already informed the firm but no one came to check.

                      As we are a middle class family and we do not have such appliances that consume so much of electricity.

                      Requesting you all that consumer complaints was my only option to get it sorted.

                        I got a call from adani holidays on 22nd saturday from [protected] on a holiday offer referring to website (https://adaniholidays.com/)

                        Asking to pay 12499 for a 1 year holiday membership, a price of vivo x21 phone & 25% cashback.
                        Mentioning that we are from the adani groups companies and venturing into holiday business and hence the offers.

                        I made the payment online on their website (This site is password protect by them)
                        Payment was made in two cuts first for 10000, (This took multiple otp attempts) and second cut was 2499 (Paid via paytm) – i did block my cc.

                        Upon payment i did received the payment confirmation email manually written. (I’ve attached the same)

                        Post which i got am email asking to pay 8277 as gst for claiming the vivox21, also stating that the gst amount will be refunded.
                        While making the payment for 8277 on their website on the gst tab (https://adaniholidays.com/gst-process/) this is as well password protect from their account team.
                        They payment was not processes and i was requested by them to click back and enter the otp again - which lead to double charge on the credit card. (Details attached)

                        Post payment: now i got another email that vivox21 is out of stock – we will give you apple iphone x or samsung s8- asking for more money

                        Adani been a trust brand – this seem to be running a proxy and fraudulent scheme

                        I’ve been trying to reach them and get the refund or product delivered by i’m getting no response now. This is clearly fraudulent

                        I would request mumbai police to look in to the matter and help resolve the same in order to recover the money, and ensure no more innocent people fall into the trap. (However there was no action yet)

                          I am here by want to complain about our director dr gynaeshwar rao, dr pankaj doshi, saurin gandhi
                          Issue to not increase our stipend from 41000 to 60000 as per new government rules all post graduate student stipend has been increased in gujarat medical colleges and only our college has not yet increase stipend and due to useless management of adani and no illegitimate director and dean of our college

                          I want to raise complain that no one is listening to us and no one is answring our question of our students

                          Please kindly help us increasing our stipend as we have no such way left of increasing our stipend

                            Respected sir,

                            This is just to bring it to your kind attention that i have been receiving my electricity bill straight with an hike from 6000inr all the way upto 9000inr in atleast about last couple of months, which i really believe is so inappropriate & so disappointing. I would really prefer & appreciate if someone from your end could take care for the same. This is really upsetting. If the company may continue the same trend like this, it may not survive on a log run.

                                  I have been paying my monthly bill through ecs since a long time. Now the company is not accepting ecs and is charging me penalty for the same saying that "ecs was returned". Ecs is a facility that was given by the company. Now the company has changed the system. Why am i or any of the lakhs of customers being penalized for "ecs bouncing" when your company has only cancelled the facility,

                                  The customer representative says she cant cancel my ecs or change my mode of payment and i need to visit office. Till i don't visit office every month i will be charged for ecs bouncing. To clarify i will be making my bill payment on time through other payment options but i will still be paying penalty charges cause your company has cancelled ecs facility but still sending bank ecs and charging me penalty when it gets returned.
                                  Especially Vigilance and recovery team of Adani electricity are highly greedy to grab money in the name of arrears from the consumers...somebody needs to break this monopoly

                                      They extremely unprofessional. They did not raised bill we haven't received it & they just send person at home saying that pay in cash or dd immediately we are doing power cut. Shame on you guys you have no professional approach to customers it's just bcoz we guys have no other electricity option u guys r still there what kind of power are u throwing on common people's. Before showing our responsibility plz prove urself first how professional are u.
                                      You are not eligible to charge me later charges. I realised it was just not me like there were somany such customers you go harshed like this. Never thought such big company with such low profile principles. Shame on you adani electricity.
