Subject: Legal Notice – Regarding Non-Provision of Gas Connection and Improper Installation of Gas Pipeline
Respected Sir/Madam,
I, Advocate Mohan Vats, hereby issue this legal notice on behalf of my client, Mr. Rajender Sharma, resident of House No. 330, Village Sihi, Sector-8, Faridabad, Haryana – 121006, to bring to your attention certain serious grievances against your company.
My client had applied for a domestic gas connection from Adani Gas Limited in the year 2020, duly submitting all necessary documents and depositing the applicable security amount as per your company’s requirements.
Despite the passage of considerable time, no gas connection has been provided to my client till date. My client also lodged an online complaint through the CPGRAMS portal under complaint number MPANG/E/2025/0000846, wherein your company assured that the service would be initiated within 3 to 4 months. However, it has now been over 7 months, and my client is yet to receive any connection or service.
Moreover, during the pipeline installation process, my client specifically instructed your installation staff to install the pipeline along the outer wall of his residence. Unfortunately, this reasonable request was not only ignored, but your staff also behaved rudely and unprofessionally, proceeding to install the pipeline as per their own discretion without consent.
Now that my client is preparing to undertake construction work on his premises, the current placement of the pipeline is creating a major obstruction. Upon contacting your office regarding relocation of the pipeline or meter, my client was informed that he must pay ₹5, 000, otherwise the position would not be altered – despite the fact that no service has been provided yet.
Therefore, I am instructed to call upon you to address the following demands without delay:
1. The immediate relocation of the installed gas pipeline and/or meter from my client's premises as per his requirement, without charging any additional fee.
2. A clear timeline and explanation regarding the undue delay in providing the gas connection, despite having completed all formalities and payment in 2020.
3. A written explanation for the unprofessional conduct of your field staff and the unauthorized installation of the pipeline.
You are hereby requested to act upon the above concerns within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of receipt of this notice, failing which my client shall be constrained to initiate appropriate legal proceedings against your company before the Consumer Forum and/or other competent legal authorities, at your risk, cost, and consequence.
This notice is sent to you without prejudice to any other legal rights or remedies available to my client under the law.
